What happens after I satisfy the KMAT eligibility criteria?
Interested candidates who satisfy the KMAT eligibility criteria can register for KMAT and fill the KMAT application form. The KMAT application form must be completed and submitted by all eligible candidates who wish to apply for MBA, PGDM and MCA colleges in Karnataka.
Can I apply for KMAT after postgraduation?
Yes, since the minimum eligibility requirement is a bachelor's degree, postgraduate students are also eligible for KMAT Karnataka.
What is the MCA eligibility criteria in KMAT?
Candidates applying for MCA admissions in KMAT must have completed at least a bachelor's degree course with a minimum of 50% aggregate score in Class 12th and graduation each. Additionally, the candidate must have passed in Mathematics as a subject in their most recent qualifying exam.
What is the age limit to apply for KMAT Karnataka?
A candidate has to be at least 21 years old to be eligible to fill the KMAT application form. However, there is no upper age limit to apply for the course.
Are students from outside of Karnataka eligible to apply for KMAT?
Yes, KMAT applications are not limited to students from Karnataka. Students from all states are eligible to apply.
Can a final year student apply for KMAT?
Yes, students in the final year of college are eligible to apply for KMAT. However, such students can only be granted provisional admission and they must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility upon passing out of their course. Additionally, the conducting body also provides a deadline for submitting original documents for the graduate degree course.
Candidates from which stream are eligible for KMAT?
Candidates from any educational background including Arts, Commerce, Engineering etc. are eligible to apply for the KMAT.
