MHT CET counselling 2024 for BE / B.Tech course has started from July 14, 2024 by the State Cell of Maharashtra. Candidates qualifying theMHT CET 2024 exam are eligible to participate in the MHT CET counselling process 2024. The MHT CET counselling 2024 comprises stages including online registration process, uploading of required documents, counselling fee payment, seat allotment and reporting to the allotted institute. The MHT CET counselling process 2024 will be conducted across 3  phases with the declaration of the MHT CET seat allotment 2024 result after each phase.

MHT CET Counselling 2024 - Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to participate in the MHT CET counselling process 2024 are required to qualify the Maharashtra CET entrance exam. Furthermore, candidates need to meet the minimum admission criteria before registering for the MHT CET counselling 2024.

MHT CET Counselling 2024 - Documents Required

MHT CET Counselling Process 2024

The MHT CET counselling process begins only after the conclusion of the online application process for CAP. What is Maharashtra State Candidature?

Maharashtra State Candidature is specifically applicable to students who have passed the qualifying exam in a specific university jurisdiction or area. The candidates can check the list of regions that fall under the jurisdiction of various universities in Maharashtra below.

MHT CET 2024 Jurisdiction of Universities, Name of Districts

Note: Maharashtra Candidature category students may view the list of engineering/ pharmacy colleges located in the districts that fall under the jurisdiction of a specific university during the choice filling process.

Applicability of Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS)

The conducting body reserves 5% of seats available in the engineering/pharmacy programmes offered by different institutes under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TWFS). The TFWS is relevant specifically for those colleges where 30% of the seats get filled via Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The tuition fee is specifically the only waiver under this scheme. Candidates coming under the Maharashtra Candidature category are eligible to apply for admission across engineering/ pharmacy programmes under TFWS. Candidates qualifying MHT CET 2024 should keep in mind that his/her parent’s family income must not be more than Rs. 6,00,000 per annum  for them to be eligible for the scheme.

MHT CET Seat Reservation Policy 2024

Candidates residing in the state of Maharashtra  are only eligible for reservation via the MHT CET counselling process 2024.. The seats available for the engineering/ pharmacy programmes across the different institutes of the state are filled according to the reservation policy of the Maharashtra government. The seat reservation is only relevant for the MHT CET 2024 Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The division of seats as per the different categories has been mentioned below.

How to Apply for MHT CET Counselling 2024?

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra is in charge of conducting the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for granting admission to eligible candidates. The conducting body releases the online application form for candidates with a valid MHT CET 2024  score. Candidates will have to fill up the application form of MHT CET counselling 2024 from the official website. While applying for the MHT CET counselling 2024, candidates will have to upload the scanned copies of the required documents.

MHT CET CAP Registration Fee 2024

MHT CET Seat Allotment 2024

The MHT CET Seat Allotment 2024 will be released after every round of MHT CET counselling 2024. The counselling process of MHT CET takes place online across three rounds via a Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Candidates will be able to  check the MHT CET seat allotment result 2024 using the MHT CET 2024 application ID and password. Candidates who are allotted seats will be required to download their MHT CET 2024 Seat Allotment letter and report to the allotted institute for the further admission process.

MHT CET Merit List 2024

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will release the MHT CET 2024 merit list on its official website along with the MHT CET 2024 result. Primarily, the provisional merit list of MHT CET 2024 will be released for raising objections. The final merit list of MHT CET 2024 will be released after taking into consideration the objections raised by the candidates. The seat allotment of  MHT CET is done based upon the rank secured by the candidates as per the MHT CET merit list.

MHT CET Web Options 2024

The MHT CET choice filling process is conducted after the closure of the MHT CET counselling registration. Candidates are required to submit their college and course preferences in a sequential order. Candidates are advised to be carefully while undertaking the MHT CET choice filling 2024  as they’ll be allotted seats on the basis of the MHT CET choice filling process 2024.
