How to download MHT CET 2025 Merit List?

The following steps will guide the candidates regarding how to access the merit list of MHT CET exam 2025:

Step 1 - The candidates, first, have to click on the link available on this page visit the official MHT CET 2025 website, i.e., cetcell.mahacet.org

Step 2 - The candidates have to click on the “Merit List” tab available on the home page of the official website

Step 3 - Next, the candidates will be required to enter their date of birth and application ID in the respective text boxes and click on the “Submit” button

Step 4 - The MHT CET 2025 merit list will be visible on the screen

Step 5 -The candidates will be required to check if their names are present on the merit list following which they have to download or take a print out which will come in handy in future

Step 6 - In case a candidate spot any discrepancy in the MHT CET merit list 2025, they will have to report it to the concerned authorities immediately

• The merit list for HSC qualified candidates will be prepared based on the marks obtained by them in the MHT CET entrance exam or any other equivalent exam

• Candidates belonging to Foreign nationalities (OCI/NRI/PIO/Gulf Countries) will be included in the merit list based on the marks obtained by them in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined in the qualifying examination

• The merit list including the names of the Diploma candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by them in their diploma qualifying examination

• In case of a tie, the candidates will be placed in the merit list of MHT CET following a tie-breaker methodology which will determine the position of the candidates in the merit list

• The merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured by the candidates in their Degree/Diploma awarding qualifying examination

• In case of a tie, the candidates will be placed in the merit list of MHT CET following a tie-breaker methodology which will determine the position of the candidates in the merit list

• The pharmacy merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the MHT CET entrance exam or similar other exams conducted by an appropriate authority

• For the Foreign candidates (OCI/NRI/PIO/Gulf Countries), the preparation of the merit list will depend on the cumulative marks obtained by them in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics at the qualifying level

• In case of a tie, the candidates will be placed in the merit list of MHT CET following a tie-breaker methodology which will determine the position of the candidates in the merit list

MHT CET Merit List 2025: Tie-breaking Rule

The MHT CET merit list tie-breaker policy will be used in a scenario where two or more candidates have scored the same marks in the entrance exam. The MHT CET 2025 merit list tie-breaker methodology will be employed in the following manner.

Engineering & Technology and Planning

The tie-breaking methodology for Engineering & Technology and planning will be employed in the following order of merit:

1. The highest marks secured by the candidates at CET Mathematics

2. The highest marks secured by the candidates at CET Physics

3. The highest marks secured by the candidates at CET Chemistry

4. Higher cumulative aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the qualifying exam

5. Higher marks secured in Mathematics at the HSC level

6. Higher marks secured in Physics at the HSC level

7. Higher aggregate at the HSC level

For Foreign Candidates

• Higher marks in Mathematics at the HSC level

• Higher marks in Physics at the HSC level

• Higher aggregate at the HSC level

Engineering and Technology Lateral Entry

1. Higher aggregate secured by the candidates at the SSC level

2. Higher marks in Mathematics at the SSC level

3. Higher marks in Science at the SSC level

4. Higher marks in English at the SSC level

Pharmacy

• Higher marks secured in Biology/Mathematics at the CET

Architecture

MHT CET Counselling 2025

The counselling process is an important stage in MHT CET. Centralized and online counselling is conducted for the candidates who clear the entrance exam. The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra is responsible for conducting the MHT CET counselling 2025. Candidates aspiring for admission in Engineering, Pharmacy and other courses that come under the ambit of MHT CET 2025 must participate in the counselling process conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. 

MHT CET Seat Allotment 2025

The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra which is the examination conducting authority is responsible for conducting the seat allotment process of MHT CET 2025 as well. Candidates who have registered for the counselling process will be able to take part in the MHT CET 2025 seat allotment process. Only the candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam will be able to participate in the counselling process. Candidates are allotted seats based on their MHT CET ranks, marks obtained at the intermediate level, and the availability of seats at the participating colleges.
