PU CET UG Counselling Process 2024: Important Steps

Panjab University will conduct the PU CET counselling process 2024 for qualified candidates via online mode. The following steps must be followed in the online PU CET UG Counselling Process 2024:

• Candidates need to submit the preference for courses/college to get admission. 

• The University will publish the seat allotment result at its website. 

• Candidates who are allotted a seat will have to report in the respective departments as per the schedule. 

• At the time of reporting, the candidates need to bring along the necessary documents verifying their date of birth, academic qualifications, etc.

Detailed PU CET UG 2024 Counselling Process

PU CET (Panjab University Common Entrance Test) is a university entrance examination. It is held to provide admission to PU Chandigarh's B.Sc (Hons.) and B.Pharmacy programmes. Depending on the number of seats available, the PU CET 2024 counselling procedure is divided into several rounds.

Step-Wise PU CET UG Counselling Process 2024 Counselling Process

All candidates must understand the complete PU CET UG 2024 counselling process. Following is the step-wise PU CET UG 2024 counselling process:

• Filling the Admission Form: PU CET 2024 admission form is made available on the official website of the university, a day after the PU CET UG 2024 Result is announced. Candidates are required to fill out the admission form and send the hard copy to the exam authority.

• Filling of Preferences: It is mandatory for the applicants to submit the PUCET counselling 2024 fee either via online or offline mode. The choice filling will take place in online mode on the official website. Candidates have to lock their choices very carefully because no correction will be allowed once the preferences are locked. The distribution of seats will be based on the PU CET 2024 Merit list.

• Reporting at the College: It is mandatory for the qualified candidates to report to the allotted college with the important documents and admission fee. Step 1: Go to the official website of Panjab University.
Step 2: Find the payment link under 'Important Instructions for Selected Candidates'.

Step 5: Make the payment using net banking/ debit card/ credit card.
Step 6: Download the receipt and take a print of it.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Panjab University.

Step 2: Click on the ‘ PU CET (UG) Merit List 2024 (for Physical Counselling)’ under the main menu

Step 3: On clicking the link, the candidate will be able to see a list of courses with different categories.

Step 4: Look for the course to which he/she has applied, and the category to which you belong.

Step 5: On clicking the link, a merit list of candidates will appear on the screen. The merit list will constitute of the following components:
