TANCET 2025 Exam

TANCET 2025 Exam: Anna University will conduct the TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) for MBA, MCA, and M.Tech/MPlan/MArch in March 2025, and the notification for the same will be released tentatively in January 2025. About TANCET

TANCET is a state-level entrance exam for admission to postgraduate professional courses like as MBA and MCA and CEETA PG is conducted for ME/MTech, and MArch/MPlan. Every year, Anna University, on behalf of DTE Chennai, administers this state-level entrance exams for admission to colleges in Tamil Nadu. The TANCET 2025 exam includes up to 100 MCQs that must be answered in two hours.

TANCET is administered by Anna University for admission to postgraduate programmes at various colleges/institutions in the state of Tamil Nadu. TANCET 2025 Eligibility criteria

To be eligible to apply for TANCET 2025, candidates must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements set by the authorities as a part of TANCET eligibility criteria 2025

  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized university is required for the interested candidate.
  • A minimum of 50% in graduation (45% for those from the reserved categories).
  • The TANCET exam has no upper age limit requirement.

TANCET Admit Card 2025

TANCET 2025 admit card will be released via online mode. TANCET Counselling 2025

TANCET 2025 counselling registration will commence in online mode. Candidates who successfully complete the TANCET registration and certificate verification process will be eligible for the rank list. DTE performs centralized counseling for TN MBA/MCA admission, whereas TANCA conducts separate counseling for other degrees. TANCET counselling assists government, government-aided, self-financing, and stand-alone colleges in Tamil Nadu with admissions. Candidates who pass the TANCET 2025 test will be eligible for the TN MBA counseling procedure.

TANCET 2025 Seat Allotment

Candidates will be able to participate in the TANCET seat allotment 2025 after the release of the rank list. Candidates will be assigned places at TANCET participating colleges depending on their ranks and preferences. TANCET counselling will be held in one round at DTE, Chennai. Following that, DTE begins the additional counselling phase. TANCET supplemental counselling will be held to replace the unfilled seats left over after general counselling.

TANCET Cutoff Marks

TANCET cutoff 2025 refers to the minimum qualifying marks/ranks that students must obtain in the test in order to be admitted to TANCET participating institutes. TANCET cutoff is not publicly released by Anna University; nevertheless, candidates can consult the previous year's seat allotment list to learn the TANCET MBA last ranks. The seat allotment lists include the final ranks for admission to all government and non-government colleges in the state that accept TANCET. For the open category, the cut-off score for elite universities/colleges/institutes often ranges between 34 and 64.

DTE Chennai will release the TANCET Merit List 2025 for MBA/MCA during the counselling process. The merit list will include the names of the candidates who will be eligible to take part in the next round of counselling. TANCET merit list for the respective courses will be as per the candidate’s category and performance in the TANCET 2025 exam. Anna University will announce the TANCA Merit List 2025 for M.Tech/ M.E/ M.Arch/ M.Plan for both TANCET and GATE applicants.
