TS ICET Counselling 2024

TS ICET 2024 spot admissions notification by the colleges was released on October 9, 2024. The notification in the newspaper to fill left over vacancies under spot admissions was published on October 10, 2024. The spot admissions at the institutions will be conducted on October 15 and 16, 2024. A total of 5216 seats are left vacant after the special phase counselling. Unlike the regular TS ICET counselling rounds, the participating institutes conduct spot counselling offline. Step-wise TS ICET Counselling Process 2024

Candidates who have qualified for the exam have to participate in the TS ICET counselling process 2024 to get admission to MBA and MCA courses offered by colleges in Telangana state. TS ICET 2024 counselling is divided into different stages which have been discussed below.

TS ICET Counselling 2024

Step 1 - Counselling Registration

  • Visit the official website for TS ICET 2024 at icet.tsche.ac.in

  • Once you are on the website, locate the TS ICET Counselling 2024 Fee Payment tab and click on it.

  • Enter your TS ICET Registration Number, Hall Ticket Number, and Date of Birth. Click on the 'Submit' button.

  • The basic information will be displayed. Confirm the details and provide information like email address and mobile number. If you are eligible for reservation, you must provide your Caste Certificate and Income certificates.

Step 2 - Payment of Processing Fee

  • Once you have provided all the necessary information, proceed with the processing fee payment.

  • The processing fee for the General Category is INR 1200, while the same is INR 600 for the SC/ ST category.

  • The TS ICET counselling 2024 processing fee can be paid using a credit card, debit card, or Internet banking.

  • An online receipt will be generated confirming the processing fee payment.

Step 3 - Slot Booking

  • After the successful payment of the counselling fee, book the slot for certificate verification.

  • Visit the helpline centre, as the slot is booked. You can choose the venue and time for certificate verification.

Step 4 - Certificate Verification

  • As per the slot booked, complete the certificate verification process at the helpline centre.
  • You will have to participate in the document verification process based on your TS ICET rank.
  • At the respective helpline centres, you will have to show your TS ICET rank card to the in-charge stationed at the entrance of the centre.
  • After this, register your name, pay the registration cum counselling fee, and obtain the receipt of the payment.
  • Then, collect the Registration cum Verification form from the registration counter and verify your details and mobile number printed on it.
  • Carry documents required documents to the respective counselling venue at the time of document verification.
  • Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/BC/OBC categories must report to the Caste Verification officer and have their original caste certificate verified by the officer.

Step 5 - Exercising Web Options

  • After the certificate verification, you will receive a Login ID on your registered mobile number.

  • Generate the password by clicking on ‘Candidate Registration’.

  • To generate a password, enter the Login ID.

  • You will receive an OTP on your mobile, which must be entered to complete the Candidate Registration.

  • You can choose as many options as you like for better admission chances, and there is no upper limit on the number of choices a candidate can submit during choice filling.

  • You can modify the choices you have already entered several times within the stipulated time.

  • After you enter your final choices, freeze or lock them before the last date for submission of options.

  • Save the choices and take the printout.

Step 6 - TS ICET Provisional Seat Allotment

  • The TS ICET 2024 seat allotment process will begin after you have locked in your final choices.
  • The TS ICET 2024 merit list will determine the seat allotment process.
  • You can check the seat allotment order on the TS ICET official website.
  • To download the seat allotment order along with the Bank Challan, log into your account.

Step 7 - TS ICET Seat Confirmation and Reporting at the Allotted Institute

  • After downloading the seat allotment letter, confirm your seats by paying the requisite fee mentioned in the provisional allotment order through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking within the stipulated time.
  • Notably, the tuition fee can be refunded.
  • After this, self report at the allotted institute online.
  • To confirm the seat allotment, register with the Biometric system to give attendance at the institute.
  • After this, your admission number will be generated, which you can download from the official website.
  • The final step is to report to the allotted institute with the printout of the TS ICET seat allotment letter and fee receipt.

Eligibility for TS ICET Counselling 2024

The Telangana State Council for Higher Education has set eligibility criteria for candidates who wish to participate in TS ICET 2024 counselling. Here's what you need to have to be eligible for the counselling process.

  • Only applicants who have passed the TS ICET 2024 admission test with a minimum mark of 50% (for applicants in the general class) and 45% (for applicants in the SC/ST category) in the overall aggregate are qualified to take part in the Telangana ICET 2024 counselling.
  • Minority applicants (Muslim/Christian) would only be deemed eligible to the collaborating academic institutions, and only for the open seats in minority universities, if they are unable to pass the TS ICET 2024 or have received 50% (OC applicants) and/or 45% (other category applicants) in their exams.
  • The applicant must be an Indian national.
  • He or she should be an Andhra Pradesh or Telangana resident.
  • There is an age requirement for applicants, and that is as of July 1, 2024, the applicant's age cannot exceed more than 30 for (OC aspirants) and 34 for (other applicants).
  • Aspirants must have graduated from college in any field of study with a minimum of 3 years of study behind them.

How to Pay TS ICET Counselling 2024 Fee

Candidates can follow the steps given below to pay TS ICET 2024 counselling fees.

Step 1: Go to the TSCHE's official site.

Step 2: Select the "Payment of processing fee" button.

Step 3: Enter your TS ICET 2024 Hall Ticket No. and Date of Birth to register for the counselling.

Step 4: A desktop screen will show the required information. Enter your current information, including your email address and phone number.

TS ICET Counselling 2024 Option Entry

Following certificate verification, TSCHE will share login information so that users can exercise their options. The login ID for candidates will be sent to their registered mobile number, while the password must be created by going to the official website, tsicet.nic.in. Candidates can explore their options at home, online, or at a helpline center.

The number of options that may be exercised is not restricted by TSCHE. Therefore, in order to increase their chances of getting a seat, candidates should select as many options as they can. During the option entry process, candidates have a list of participating TS ICET institutes and courses to choose from. Candidates must print out the final options saved after submitting their options.

Option Entry Eligibility in Final Phase of TS ICET Counselling

Every TS ICET candidate will not be marked eligible for option entry in the final phase of counselling. Candidates are eligible to exercise options in the final phase of TS ICET 2024 counselling if they meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates who have secured a seat in the first phase of counselling but are not interested to join the allotted college/university.
  • Candidates who have not secured a seat but have gotten their certificates verified.
  • Candidates who did not participate in the option entry but got their certificates verified.
  • Candidates who have secured a seat confirmed the seat but are waiting for a better option

How to Participate in Subsequent Rounds of TS ICET 2024 Counselling

  • In the event that an applicant was unable to take part in the prior round of Telangana ICET counselling for any specific purpose, they may still engage by showing up for the records authentication round.

  • Applicants may take part in the second round of counselling if a seat is not allocated in the 1st session of TS ICET counselling 2024.

  • If an applicant is offered a seat but declines it, their joining would be deemed void and the position will be regarded as empty. Applicants cannot, nevertheless, request the past allocation from earlier rounds of counselling.

  • An applicant must pay the required fee and be present for consecutive rounds if they take the offer.

Process of Cancellation in TS ICET Counselling 2024

An applicant may nullify or retract from the reserved seat within a specified window of time that will be offered by the officials. Those who wish to revoke or retract from their assigned seat must report in an individual capacity to the committee chair or send the required documents by certified post.

The remaining vacancies in Private Unaided MBA and MCA institutions will be filled through Institutional Spot Admissions, which will be conducted at the respective colleges. Those who wish to apply for admission are advised to get in touch with the Principals of the appropriate institutions.

  • On the TS ICET official website, tsicet.nic.in, candidates may get information about universities and existing vacancies.
  • Spot admissions are not permitted for candidates without original certificates.
  • The applicant must bring all original certificates with them for on-site admissions verification. The candidate will receive their original certificates back after proper verification. The candidate must submit a set of Xerox copies of their certificates together with their original transfer certificate (T.C.) to the college.
  • For applicants accepted through Institutional Spot, fee reimbursement is not applicable.

Spot Admissions Eligibility Criteria

  • Without original certificates, candidates cannot be allowed for spot admission.
  • The TS ICET 2024 qualified candidates who have 50% (49.5% and above can be considered as 50%) aggregate marks in respect of non-SC/ST/BCs and 45% (44.5% and above can be taken as 45%) aggregate marks in respect of BC/SC/STs are qualified to apply for spot admission.
  • Applicants without a TS ICET rank who have successfully completed a degree programme or an equivalent examination with a percentage of 49.5% or higher (for OC candidates) or 44.5% or higher (for BC, SC, and ST candidates) will be given consideration, should there be any remaining vacancies.
  • Before granting admission, candidates who hold degrees or equivalent certificates from universities other than the concerned Telangana University would be required to present an equivalency certificate from that institution.
  • Similarly, only that category will get the dropout openings (reported but discontinued).
  • The cancelled cases and unreported cases should only be provided for that category.
  • If a specific candidate is not available, they should be transferred to another category in accordance with the attached Annexure; in other words, the vacancies should be converted to the open category once all applicants in the category have been exhausted.
  • Candidates from other states who have completed all of their education in Telangana and whose parents have only resided in that state are ineligible for admission. If they admit the applicant in violation of the rules set forth, he or she cannot be considered even as a Non Local (NL) candidate for admission to Telangana State, and ratification will not be granted in such situations.
  • Candidates accepted during institutional spot admissions should be made aware that their admissions are subject to approval by the TSICET 2024 Admissions Convenor. The candidate must leave the college right away if the spot admission they were offered was not approved because of some technical reason.

Final Admission through TS ICET Counselling 2024
