TS ICET Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the TS ICET 2025 eligibility standards in order to become eligible for the counselling process:

  • It is mandatory for the candidates to be citizens of India and residents of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh.
  • Candidates must have obtained their bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • The minimum aggregate marks required for general category candidates is 50%, and for reserved category candidates, it is 45%.
  • Minority (Muslim/Christian) students who fail to pass the TS ICET 2025 or achieve scores of 50% and 45% (other category candidates) will only be given consideration for admission to the participating colleges if there are leftover seats in minority colleges.

How to Choose a College During the TS ICET 2025 Counselling Process

Applicants must know that there are several colleges in Telangana that takes up the score of TS ICET 2025 for admission in their MA and MBA courses. TS ICET is the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test conducted by the Telangana State Board. For interested candidates who want to opt for colleges which offer TS ICET 2025 must know the following pointers.

  • Candidates appearing for this exam will have to wait for the result to be declared.

  • Ones the results are declared, candidates will have to find out the colleges which accept the TS ICET score.

  • Then the candidate has to prepare a list of such colleges and wait till the counselling dates.

  • Candidates will have tally their score with the colleges which accept TS ICET score.

  • Based on their score they will have to choose a college under the Telangana State board and apply for it.

TS ICET 2025 Result

After the TS ICET 2025 entrance exam will be conducted in online mode, TSCHE will release the results in the form of a scorecard in June 2025. 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking for any incorrect answer.

TS ICET 2025 Counselling Process

The TS ICET 2025 counselling process will be conducted in four stages after the declaration of the results. TS ICET seat allotment is done on the basis of merit. 85% of seats are reserved for the Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh candidates and the other candidates become eligible for the remaining 15%. Counselling incorporates a number of procedures as mentioned below.

Step 1 - Registration and Payment of Counselling Fee: Candidates need to click on the tab that says ‘Payment of processing fee’, enter the registration number printed in the hall ticket, and pay the registration fee (Rs. 1,200 for General Category and Rs. 600 for Reserved Category).

Step 2 - Verification of Documents: After completing the registration successfully, verification of the following documents is done:

  • TS ICET 2025 Admit Card and Rank Card
  • Passing degree/ certificate
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Degree provisional passing certificate
  • Transfer certificate (TC)
  • School certificate from class IX to a degree
  • Intermediate or equivalent passing certificate/ mark sheet

Step 3 - Option entry: Candidates may now choose the college of their preference

Step 4 - Allotment of seats on the basis of the TS ICET 2025 score: Apart from the candidate's preference, the final seat allocation will be done after choosing the centre based on the merit list and the availability of seats.

Step 5 - Payment of Fee and Self-reporting: Candidates must pay the fee amount after seats are allocated. Next, they must choose "Accept My Joining." After the generation of the admission number, which will be displayed on the screen, candidates must print it out and submit it, along with their allotment letter, to the college of their choice.
