TS ICET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
For the TS ICET 2025, candidates must fulfil certain eligibility criteria, without which their applications would be invalid. The criteria generally contain aspects such as nationality, educational qualifications, and age. Here is a detailed description of each criterion.
Nationality
One must be an Indian citizen and lay claim to either local or non-local status in line with regulations established by the Telangana State government. Other candidates may be non-resident Indians (NRIs) or foreign nationals, who should produce requisite documents as prescribed by respective universities for MBA or MCA courses.
Educational Qualifications
Those seeking admission to MBA programs must hold a bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised university and must have at least an aggregate score of 50% for general category students and 45% marks for students belonging to reserved categories. Final-year candidates pursuing their bachelor's programs are allowed to apply, provided they submit their degree certificates at the time of admission.
Admissions to MCA programs are also for candidates with an undergraduate degree, but they should have studied Mathematics in their curriculum from either the 10+2 level or at a graduation level.
Age Limit
There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing in TS ICET 2025. This way, the entrance examination targets a wider base of candidates. However, candidates must have attained at least 19 years on or before the date of the examination. In doing so, the limit helps ensure that all would-have-postgraduate students show suitable age maturity and college readiness for postgraduate studies.
Reservation Criteria
As per the policies of the Government of Telangana State, reserved seats are meant for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, or other special categories, inclusive of differently-abled. Such reservations intend to establish changes within the higher education framework by ensuring opportunities for the excluded sections of society.
