TS ICET exam pattern 2024 includes aspects like the number of questions asked in the examination, marking scheme, exam duration, etc. TS ICET 2024 will be conducted online, featuring a question paper consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each correct answer will earn the candidate 1 mark. The exam will comprise three sections: Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability.

The conducting body for the TS ICET entrance examination is Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of TSCHE, Hyderabad. The TS ICET 2024 exam is conducted specifically for candidates aspiring to seek admission in MBA and MCA PG level courses. It is a state-level entrance exam through which candidates can get admission into the various universities and colleges of the state.

TS ICET 2024 Qualifying Criteria

Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks in the TS ICET 2024 exam in order to clear the exam. The minimum qualifying mark for TS ICET is 25 percent (i.e. 50 marks out of a total of 200 marks) for candidates belonging to the General Category. On the other hand, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks has been specified for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Section-A: Analytical Ability (75 Questions and 75 Marks)

• Data Sufficiency: 20 Questions and 20 Marks

• Problem Solving (55 Questions and 55 Marks)

a) Series (25 Questions and 25 Marks): Analogies of Numbers and Alphabets including completion of blank spaces in a:b::c:d relationships, Odd things out; Missing Numbers in a sequence or a series

b) Data Analysis (10 Questions and 10 Marks): Analysis of Table/Graph must be done for answering the questions; Bar Diagram/ Pie Chart; Venn Diagram or a passage

c) Coding and Decoding Problems (10 Questions and 10 Marks): A Code Pattern of the English alphabet (Group Comprehension); A Word or a group of letters to be coded or decoded based on certain codes

(d) Date, Time & Arrangement Problems (10 Questions and 10 Marks): Blood Relationships, Arrivals and Departures Schedules, Calendar problems, Clock problems, Blood Relationships, Arrivals and Departures Schedules, Seating Arrangements, Symbols and Notation Interpretation.

Section -B: Mathematical Ability 75 Questions (75 Marks)

• Arithmetical Ability (35 Questions and 35 Marks): Laws of indices, Percentages; Profit and loss, Partnership, Pipes and cisterns, ratio and proportion, surds, time and distance, time and work problems, numbers and divisibility, L.C.M. and G.C.D, Rational numbers, Ordering, areas, volumes, mensuration and modular arithmetic.
• Algebraical and Geometrical Ability (30 Questions and 30 Marks): Sets, Polynomials, Linear Equations in two Variables, Algebraic expressions, Arithmetic and Geometric progressions, slope of a line, Lines y=mx, Lines y=mx+c and Lines y - y1=m (x-x1), Heights and Distances, Plane geometry of Lines and Triangles, Plane geometry of Quadrilaterals, Trigonometric ratios of angles (0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, 180°), Trigonometric identities, Plane geometry of Circles, Coordinate geometry- Distance between two points - Coordinate geometry - Section formula
• Statistical Ability (10 Questions and 10 Marks): Mean, Median, Mode, and simple problems on Probability

• Part 1: Meanings (sentences with dashes)
• Part 2: Synonyms and Antonyms
• Part 3: Verb (Tense & Voice)
• Part 4: Phrasal Verbs & Idioms
• Part 5: Articles & Prepositions
• Part 6: Computer Terminology
• Part 7: Business Terminology
• Part 8: Comprehension (3) passages (Each passage carries 5 questions)

TS ICET Exam Pattern 2024: How to Answer a Question

To answer a question, candidates must do the following:

• Click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of your screen to go to that numbered question directly. However, this does not save your answer to the current question.

• Click on Save & Next to save your answer for the current question and then go to the next question.

• Click on Mark for Review & Next to save your answer for the current question, mark it for review, and then go to the next question.

How to Answer a Multiple Choice Type Question

• To respond to a question, select the button corresponding to your chosen option from the provided four options.
• If you wish to change your selected answer, simply click on the button of another option.
• To deselect your chosen answer, either click on the button of the selected option again or utilize the Clear Response button.
• To ensure your response is recorded, you MUST click on the Save & Next button.
• Questions labeled as "Answered and Marked for Review" will be taken into account for evaluation.
• Questions marked for review will not be considered for evaluation, and thus, no marks will be assigned for them.
• Upon clicking the Save & Next button on the last question of a section, you will be automatically directed to the first question of the subsequent section.

TS ICET Exam Pattern 2024: General Instructions

Some Important Instructions to the Candidates which have to be followed by the candidate while attending the exam are as follows:

• Candidates should carry a Ball Point Pen (Blue or Black) into the examination hall.

• Should not bring any other material including the instructions booklet, Papers, Cell Phones, etc., into the examination hall.

• Must sit in their allotted places until the completion of the examination.

• Candidates advised going through the instructions given for marking the answers and other entries on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet thoroughly.

• Should return the OMR Answer Sheet and data card to the invigilator.

• Candidates shall mark the correct answer in Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet by darkening the appropriate circle with Ball Point Pen (Blue or Black).
