All Shifts | - As per the JEE Main session 1 paper analysis, the difficulty level of JEE Mains 2024 session 1 exam was moderate.

January 27, 2024 (Shift 2) | - As per the student's reaction, the difficulty level of JEE Mains 2024 paper was easy. The Jan 27 shift 2 paper was easier than shift 1 according to the applicants.
- The physics section was easy contrary to the previous years. The questions in the Physics sections were concept-based.
- According to the student's reaction in the Chemistry section, the inorganic chemistry received the most weightage on shift 2, followed by organic and physical chemistry. Furthermore, physical and organic chemistry received equal weight in the NAT section, compared to physical chemistry dominance in previous articles.
- Applicants find the questions in the Mathematics easy and not lengthy. However, some of the Mathematics questions were tough.
- There are many questions in JEE Main January 27 shift 2 asked from the previous year's papers.

January 29, 2024 (Shift 2) | The overall difficulty level of the JEE Main 29th Jan 2024 shift 2 was moderate. As per the student’s reaction questions in the Chemistry section were easy. In the Chemistry section questions from topics like Organic Chemistry, Atoms, Periodic, Mole, Physical Chemistry, etc were asked. Many numerical-based questions were asked from the Physical Chemistry part. Students found the Physics section easy in shift 2. There were 20 to 22 good attempt questions in the Physics section. Topics like magnetism, rotation, heat, kinematics, Logic Gate, etc carried a good amount of weightage in the Physics section. Students find the Mathematics section difficult to solve. January 30, 2024 (Shift 2) | - As per the student’s reaction, the difficulty level of JEE Mains 2024 shift 2 paper was moderate in the JEE Main 30th Jan 2024 shift 2.
- Questions in the Physics section were moderate to difficult. Physics questions were similar to those of the previous session 1 exam shifts. Around 17 to 18 questions were a good attempt.
- The chemistry section was easy. Many questions were asked about organic chemistry compared to inorganic chemistry. Fewer questions were asked from Physical Chemistry.
- From 2023, Students found the Mathematic section to be simple. Compared to Physics and Chemistry, Mathematic questions were lengthy to solve. There were 13 to 15 good attempt questions in the Mathematics section.
- In the Mathematics section, questions from topics like Areas, Vector, 3D Geometry, Limits, Statistics, Calculus and Algebra, etc were asked.
- 4 questions were asked from Vector 3D. As per our analysis, questions from Vector 3d have been asked in all the session 1 shifts till yet.
- Some questions were asked from the JEE Main previous year question paper also.
- Topics like Thermodynamics, Mole Concept, Chemical Kinetics, Ionic Equilibrium, d and f block elements, etc carried a good amount of weightage in the Chemistry section.

January 31, 2024 (Shift 1) | The overall difficulty level of JEE Mains 2024 Shift 1 exam was 'moderate' The Mathematics section was moderately difficult and time-consuming as compared to the other sections About 3-4 questions in Maths were easily doable 2 questions were asked from Differential Equations, of which one was easy and the other was a bit calculative. A few questions were asked from AP & GP, which was not included in the deleted syllabus. Nearly 2-3 questions were asked from 3D Geometry and Vectors. Questions were also seen from Ellipse, Straight Lines and Circle, Integration, Matrices and Determinants etc. The Chemistry part was overall easy in comparison to Maths and Physics Questions were asked from Organic and Inorganic Chemistry; most of the questions were based on NCERT books, which candidates are familiar with. In Chemistry, 1 question was asked from Mole Concepts. Others included topics, such as f and d block elements, Coordination Compounds, Purification etc. Overall, expected good attempts are 20-21. The Physics portion in Shift 1 was of moderate level. Students could attempt approximately 18-19 questions. The topics mainly covered in Physics included Ray Optics, Circular Motion, Rotation, Nuclear Physics, Modern Physics, Mechanics etc. On average, time taken to solve Physics questions was 40-50 minutes

January 31, 2024 (Shift 2) | - As per the student's reaction, the JEE Main 31 January Shift 2 paper was moderate to difficult.
Students find the Mathematic section to be challenging. In addition, the Mathematics questions were time-consuming. As per applicants' feedback, only 10 to 12 questions were good attempts in the Mathematics section. The chemistry section was easy to solve. Questions from Physical Chemistry were more compared to the Inorganic Chemistry. Several questions were asked from Kinematics and Electrostatics. Applicants find Physics questions to be moderate. 18 to 19 questions were a good attempt in the Physics section. Many questions were there from the JEE Main previous year question papers. There were 3 to 4 questions on Gravitation in the Physics section. Topics like Rotation, Magnetism, Mechanics, and electrostatistics, carried a good amount of weightage in Physics. In shift 2, NAT questions were moderate to difficult. Around 45 to 46 questions were a good attempt in the overall JEE Main 31 Jan 2024 shift 2 paper.

February 1, 2024 (Shift 1) | The overall difficulty level of JEE Mains 2024 Shift 1 exam was 'easy to moderate' As per the students, the exam paper was overall balanced on Day 5. The Chemistry section was very easy and had questions mostly based on theoretical concepts Organic Chemistry was given higher weightage in comparison to Inorganic Chemistry About 4-5 questions were asked from Assertion and Reasoning in the Chemistry paper Like previous days, the majority of the questions were NCERT-based; direct questions in Chemistry were asked from CBSE syllabus In Physics, formula-based questions were asked; this section, too, was easy to solve according to the students. 2 questions in Physics were asked from the chapter on Capacitor; no questions were seen from Rotation. The Mathematics portion was moderately difficult; students found the questions to be lengthy. About 6-7 questions in Maths, particularly those from Calculus, were tricky and time-consuming. Nearly 2-3 questions were asked from Vector and 3D Geometry Students with a strong grip and good calculation skills were able to solve about 8-10 questions Overall, the attempts in Maths paper on the last day of the exam was less than the previous shifts and years. Overall, the number of students appearing for the exam on the last day was notably less. On average, the overall good attempts by students were 45-50.

February 1, 2024 (Shift 2) | The JEE Main Feb 1 shift 2 paper was moderate. Students find the Chemistry questions easy to attempt. Topics like d and f block elements, Biomolecules, Coordination Compounds, Purification, etc were asked in the Chemistry section. The mathematics section was difficult to solve. There were complex questions that were time-consuming. Around 3 questions were asked from Vector 3d. Topics like Calculus, Vector 3-D, Distance, Conic Section, Determinants, etc carried good weightage in the Mathematics section Applicants find Organic Chemistry questions easy to solve. Overall 47 to 51 questions were good to attempt in the JEE Main February 1 shift 2 paper. Applicants find Physics questions easy to moderate. Mechanic questions in Physics were Numericals. Topics like the Law of Motion, Mechanics, Gravitation, Semi Conductors, Unit Dimensions, etc carried high weightage in the Physics section. In the Physics section 21 to 23 questions were easy to attempt. Chemistry had 22 to 24 questions which were easy to attempt. As the mathematical section was tough, students found only 10 to 11 good attempt questions in it.
