The JEE Mains 2018 question paper had 30 questions in total with 40 marks for each subject - chemistry, physics, and mathematics. All the questions were multiple-choice questions. JEE Mains Question Paper 2018 for physics was the most challenging compared to maths and chemistry. Out of the 90 questions asked, 20 were considered tough, 37 were moderate, and 33 were easy in terms of difficulty. JEE Main 2018 Question Paper Weightage

In the JEE Main exam of 2018, the Physics section was the most challenging. It required a wide range of knowledge of concepts and their applications. However, the section was not too long compared to other sections. There were 17 questions from the 12th-grade syllabus and 13 from the 11th-grade syllabus. The section had 4 difficult, 20 moderate, and 6 easy questions. The JEE Mains Question Paper 2018 for Chemistry had questions of moderate and easy difficulty levels. Some questions were based on theories while others required formulas. This made it easy for most students to answer the questions quickly and save time for the other two sections. The paper had 14 questions from the class 12th syllabus and 16 questions from the class 11th syllabus. Out of the total number of questions, 3 were difficult, 17 were of moderate difficulty, and 10 were easy. Compared to the other two subjects, Mathematics was the easiest. Many questions were based on formulas and calculations. There were 10 questions from the class 12 syllabus and 20 questions from the class 11 syllabus. In total, there were 30 questions, out of which 13 were easy, 14 were moderate, and 3 were tough.
