JEE Main 2024 Physics Syllabus Paper 1 (B.Tech)

NTA has made some changes in the Physics syllabus for JEE Mains and has reduced 22% of the syllabus for BTech. 2 chapters have been removed from the new syllabus including Capacitors & Capacitance and Communication Devices. Apart from this, the chapters on Electromagnetic Induction, Alternating Currents, and Optics have been merged into a single chapter.

JEE Main Physics Syllabus 2024 Weightage

Physics is one of the most important sections in JEE Main 2024 exam which is conducted for 30 questions out of a total of 90 questions. The JEE Main 2024 Physics Syllabus PDF weighs each unit differently, with Mechanics and Electrostatics receiving the highest weightage of 25% and 20%, respectively. Magnetostatics, Waves and Optics, and Modern Physics each have a weightage of 15%, while Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics have a weightage of 10% and 5%, respectively.
