AP ECET Participating Colleges 2025: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh accepting AP ECET have been enumerated below.

• Candidates must have appeared and qualified at the AP ECET 2025 exam
• Mere appearance in the AP ECET exam does not automatically entitle a candidate to be considered for entry into any course unless the candidate satisfies the requirement of eligibility and other criteria laid down in the rules of admission.
• Admission offered against 85% of the seats in each course shall be reserved for the local candidates and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be unreserved seats as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
• The admissions offered under the lateral entry scheme in the scenario of Un-Aided Private Professional institutes (Minority & non-Minority) are 20% over and above the sanctioned intake into the course. In the case of University Colleges, the lateral entry seats are 10% over and above the sanctioned intake into the course.
• While filling up the lateral entry seats based upon the AP ECET 2025 ranks, BSc(Mathematics) stream students will be considered for admission only after exhausting all the qualified diploma holders.

AP ECET Counselling 2025

AP ECET Counselling 2025dates will be announced by APSCHE on its official website. Candidates who will be shortlisted based on theAP ECET result 2025 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The AP ECET authorities will issue the seat allotment list after each round of counselling depending on the candidate's rank, preference, and seat availability. If any seats remain unfilled after the conclusion of the counselling, further rounds of AP ECET 2025 counselling will be held.
