Around 3 rounds of AP ECET seat allocation are held every year. This depends upon the number of seats left vacant after each round.
The candidates who are allotted a seat must report at the AP ECET Helpline Centres with a valid rank card and other documents for verification.
Candidates must receive at least 25% of the total marks in order to be considered qualified for the AP ECET seat allotment and counselling procedures. But other factors also have an impact on how this procedure turns out. These consist of:
- Availability of seats
- The number of applicants
- Candidate preference
- Rank secured etc.
If any seats are still available after counselling, the authorities will hold an additional round of counselling on the spot.
AP ECET seat allotment refers to the process of seat allocation in various colleges and courses through the counselling process. Students, like in any other competitive exam, are assigned seats based on specified criteria set by the conducting body. Students must go through its counselling procedure if they want to enrol in engineering and other professional courses through AP ECET.
