AP ECET Result 2025 will be released in online mode at ctets.apsche.ap.gov.in by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada. Candidates can access the AP ECET 2025 Result by entering their registration number and hall ticket number. The rank card is available following the announcement of the results. Candidates can view their qualifying status as well as their overall ranking.

The AP ECET result includes the candidate's name, roll number, exam marks, and qualifying status. Those who qualify for the AP ECET shall be invited to take part in the AP ECET counselling 2025. Points to Remember

• Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks in AP ECET 2025 to be eligible for the counselling process.
• To secure a rank in AP ECET, candidates must obtain a qualifying percentage of 25% of the aggregate marks i.e. 50 out of 200 marks in the four subjects (three for B. Sc Mathematics). 
• There are no minimum qualifying marks specified for ranking in the case of SC/ST candidates. 
• The rank claimed by a candidate belonging to the SC/ST category shall be nullified if the claim stands invalid at the time of admission due to the lack of supporting documents.

How total marks in AP ECET Result 2025 can be calculated?

The total marks obtained by a candidate in the AP ECET exam are calculated based on the total number of correct answers and the total number of incorrect answers marked. Thus, to calculate their scores, candidates must be aware of the AP ECET marking scheme 2025. 

AP ECET 2025 Marking scheme

As per the marking pattern of the AP ECET exam, each correct answer carries 1 mark while each incorrect answer carries a negative marking of 0.25 marks. 

Thus, the total marks obtained are calculated using the following method -

Total Marks in AP ECET = (Total no. of correct responses x 1) - (Total no. of incorrect responses x 0.25)

AP ECET Merit List 2025

The AP ECET 2025 Merit List will include the names and roll numbers of all the candidates who pass the exam and are eligible to participate in the AP ECET 2025 counselling process. The merit list of AP ECET 2025 will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the examination.

While preparing the AP ECET Merit List 2025, in case two or more candidates score the same marks, then tie-breaking rules will be applied, which are as follows -

• Candidates scoring higher marks in Mathematics will be given priority and ranked higher. 

• If a tie persists, candidates with higher marks in Chemistry & Physics will be rewarded a higher rank. 

• If a tie still continues, the candidate older in age will be given priority and ranked at a higher position.
