MAH MCA CET Merit List

The MAH MCA CET 2024 final merit list has been published in online mode at mca2024.mahacet.org.in. Candidates can check their merit status by clicking on the link given below. They must enter their Applciation ID and Date fof birth to access the final merit list of MAH MCA CET 2024. The final list is released after taking into consideration and resolving the grievances submitted by students against the MAH MCA CET provisional merit list 2024. It is to be noted that candidates will not be permitted to raise grievances against the final MAH MCA CET merit list 2024.

MAH MCA CET 2024 CAP Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for MAH MCA CET 2024 CAP given below. 

Those applying as Maharashtra State Candidates must have the following qualifying requirements:

  • The candidate must be an Indian national with a minimum of three years of experience and a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent CGPA.
  • Candidate must have passed the MAH MCA CET 2024 exam.

Candidates applying for the OMS Category must satisfy the following requirements:

  • The candidate must be an Indian national with a minimum of three years of experience and a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent CGPA.
  • The qualifying criteria for candidates applying under the NRI/Foreign National/PIO/Children of Indian Workers quota in the Gulf nations are as follows.

  • Candidate must have received 50% or comparable CGPA in any Bachelor's degree of at least three years duration.
  • Qualified in MAH MCA CET 2024 OR any other similar entrance examination held during the academic year 2024-25.

Candidates seeking admission to Minority or Institute level seats must meet the following qualifying requirements:

  • The candidate must be an Indian national with a minimum three-year Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 50% aggregate or comparable CGPA.
  • Appeared and qualified in MAH MCA CET 2024 OR any other CET administered by a Pravesh Niyantran Samiti-approved agency in Bandra (E), Mumbai-51 for the academic year 2024-23.

Steps in MAH MCA CET 2024 Centralised Admission Process

The important stages pertaining to MAH MCA CET 2024 counselling are as follows -

  • Visit the official website.

  • On the official website, the category-wise seats in various institutes are displayed for CAP Rounds I and II.

  • Fill up the application form for CAP rounds.

  • After that, select the institution's priority in the decreasing order of preference.

  • After filling the preferred form, you will be allotted an institute by the DTE authority.

  • You will have a choice to either ‘Freeze’ or ‘Not Freeze’ the seat allotted.

  • Once you accept the seat, you should accept the seat online

  • Proceed to allotted institute for physical reporting

First Round of Counselling

  • You can fill the counselling application form with the course and institution of your choice.

  • Those of you, who are allotted seats after the 1st round of CAP, have to report to the allotted institute to confirm admission.

  • If you are not satisfied with the allotted seat, then you can wait for the following rounds of counselling.

Second Round of Counselling

  • If you have not been allotted your preferred seat and if you are not satisfied with the seat allotted to you, then, in this case, you will be eligible for the 2nd round of counselling.

  • At the conclusion of the second round of counselling, you have to report to the institute allotted to complete all the necessary procedures for the confirmation of admission.

Third Round of Counselling

  • The seats of any category or branch, which are not filled after the first two rounds of counselling, are made available for the 3rd round of CAP. These seats are treated as General category seats.

  • The third round of counselling is organized offline and is open only for candidates of Maharashtra state.

  • After successful allotment of seats, one has to confirm admission by reporting to the allotted institute on the scheduled day.

MAH MCA CET 2024 CAP Process

The Centralized Allotment Process will be used for admission and seat distribution for MAH MCA CET 2024. Candidates will be invited to submit Online Application Forms to the CAP Authority in order to participate in the Centralized Admission Process. This is followed by in-person validation of Online Application Forms and Document Verification at the Facilitation Centre by the Candidate.

During centralized allotment, the applicant has the option to 'Freeze,' 'Slide,' or 'Float' the assigned seat for the next round. The methods are as follows:

  • Freeze- Candidates who accept the provided seat do not desire to participate in any further rounds of MAH MCA CET 2024 seat distribution must choose the freeze option. They will not be considered in subsequent rounds of admission after the 'freeze'.
  • Slide- Candidates who accept the provided seat and wish to take admission to a higher-level academic program within the same college/institute that is offered, should choose the slide option. Following the slide,' candidates will be evaluated in later admissions or CAP rounds.
  • Float- Candidates should accept the provided seat and indicate that if admission to a higher-level academic program in any college/institute is offered, they will accept it. Otherwise, students will continue with the present academic curriculum. Such applicants will be considered in the following admissions rounds or CAP.

Candidates who pick either the Float or Slide option and gain the admission seat of their higher preference will automatically forfeit the seat accepted in the previous round. Candidates who have been given admission in their first choice will not have access to sliding and floating alternatives.

The college should issue you a transfer certificate or migration certificate, you can try to demand it from your college administrators first. If in case the college is still not issuing the TC you can use the duplicate TC. A duplicate transfer certificate is just a second copy of your first TC. You can take admission to any college with a duplicate TC as well.
