Detailed Eligibility Criteria for MAH MCA CET 2025

The MAH MCA CET 2025 eligibility criteria are stated below:

Age:

There is no age bar for the examination.

Nationality:

The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Academic Qualifications:

For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu, and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates:

For First-Year Admission:

  • Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in any subject from a recognised university.

  • Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks for Reserved (OBC /SC/ST/PWD) candidates.

  • Candidate should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at Class 12 level or Graduate level examination.

  • Candidates in their final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the MAH-MCA-CET 2025 examination.

For Direct 2nd Year (Lateral Entry) Admission:

  • Candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications or Science (Information Technology or Computer Science) from a recognised university.

Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National:

  • Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification awarded by a University recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in any subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

  • Candidate should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in the 12th or at the Graduate level.

  • For DirectSecond year admissions, candia date should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications or Science.

MAH MCA CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry Admission

Aspirants failing to meet the necessary eligibility requirements will not be granted admission to the MAH MCA CET program. The lateral entry admission for one year and direct second year is outlined below -

  • Indian citizenship is a prerequisite
  • Successful completion of 10+2 or graduation with Mathematics as a core subject is mandatory
  • A minimum of 50% aggregate in a 3-year bachelor's degree from a recognized university is required
  • Candidates from backward and PwD categories in Maharashtra State must achieve a minimum of 45% aggregate
  • Aspirants in their final year of the qualifying exam are eligible to apply for the MAH MCA CET 2025
  • The eligibility criteria are the same as for first-year admission, with the additional requirement of a bachelor's degree in computer application (BCA) or a B.Sc. in (CS, IT) from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of 50% aggregate in the bachelor's degree in computer application (BCA) or B.Sc. in (CS, IT) is necessary
  • Candidates from backward and PwD categories in Maharashtra State must secure a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.

Caste Certificate

  • Aspirants falling under the specified category are required to provide the caste certificate from the authorized body as indicated below -
  • Applicants from VJ/DT (NT (A)), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), SC, OBC, and SBC categories must furnish a "Caste Validity Certificate" issued by the scrutiny committee of the social welfare department.

Candidates falling under the ST category must present a "Tribe Validity Certificate" issued by the scrutiny committee of the tribal departments.

Disabilities Under PwD Category

Disabilities falling under the PwD category include the following -

Visual Impairment: Candidates with visual impairments experience a permanent decrease in writing speed due to certain reasons. They are allowed to use a scribe at their own expense during online examinations.

Locomotor Disability: Candidates with locomotor disabilities have their dominant (writing) extremity affected to the point where it slows down their performance by at least 40%.

The college should issue you a transfer certificate or migration certificate, you can try to demand it from your college administrators first. If in case the college is still not issuing the TC you can use the duplicate TC. A duplicate transfer certificate is just a second copy of your first TC. You can take admission to any college with a duplicate TC as well.
