The MH SET Exam Pattern 2025 is almost similar to other state-level SET exams such as HP SET, KSET, APSET, GSET, etc. The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) conducts the offline (OMR-based) exam for MH SET, and the same is divided into Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates need to appear for both papers to clear the MH SET 2025 exam. While Paper 1 of MH SET is common for all the candidates, Paper 2 is subject-specific, i.e., the subject chosen by the candidates while filling out the application form.
MH SET Paper 1 consists of general objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering Teaching and Research Aptitude that evaluates general reasoning, comprehension, and research ability. Paper 1 covers Teaching & Research Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Communication, ICT, Higher Education, and People & Environment. Conversely, Paper 2 encompasses 32 specific subjects. All questions in both papers are mandatory. Paper Details
Paper 1 -It is of general nature, designed to assess the teaching/research aptitude. The test is conducted to test reasoning ability, divergent thinking, comprehension, and general awareness of the candidate. It consists of fifty (50) objective-type compulsory questions, two marks each.
Paper 2- It consists of hundred (100) objective-type compulsory questions, based on the candidateโs selected subjects (except mathematical science). Each question carries two marks. In Mathematical Science, a student has to attempt all questions (100) either from Sections I & II or from Sections I & III only. The OMR sheets with questions attempted from both sections (II & III) will be straightaway rejected.

Yes. You can carry the question booklet and carbonless copy of the OMR sheet after the exam. You should handover the original OMR sheet to the invigilator.
There are four sets of question booklet in MH SET viz., Set A, B, C & D.
