Candidates just have to log in with a valid login ID and password to check the SEED merit list. Candidates named in the merit list can proceed to register for the program. The SEED entrance exam will be held on January 12, 2025, and the SEED 2025 results are expected to be released on January 17, 2025. The merit list will be based on performance in the SEED 2025 exam, Portfolio Review, PRPI Task, and Personal Interaction. This year, 207 seats are open across 8 specialized design programs. Successful candidates must secure their spots by completing online registration and fee payments between April 21 and May 2, 2025.

Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) is spreading its wings further in the field of design which includes communication design, industrial design, fashion design, and fashion communication for Indian as well as foreign students. These programs have specific admissions requirements and students have to meet the SEED exam entrance and cutoff marks in the entrance test for admission. The total number of seats available for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program is 207 seats comprising 180 Indian students and 27 for foreign students.

For SEED 2025, there are a certain percentage of seats reserved for different categories such as ST, SC and others. There are also seats reserved for international students. So, we have mentioned the category-wise seat reservation in the table below:

SEED 2025 comprises different rounds including a written entrance test, a personal interaction and a portfolio review. The entrance exam will include two parts namely visualisation and aptitude comprising of 40 and 20 question ratio. So, to secure a spot on the merit list, the candidate must score a minimum of 50% on the written test.

SEED entrance is conducted by the Symbiosis Institute of Design or SID once a year. It is a national-level exam conducted through Computer Based Testing (CBT).
