UCEED Participating Colleges 2025 Overview

IIT Bombay will announce an updated list of the UCEED participating colleges 2025, which will also go live on its admission portal with the release of the UCEED application form 2025. So far, six colleges have been confirmed to participate, including the addition of IIT Roorkee in the last edition of the test, offering as many as 225 seats into the B.Des program together. Admission to the B.Des program in these UCEED 2025 participating institutes will be based on the UCEED 2025 merit list.

One of the major differences between the UCEED participating colleges and result-sharing institutes is that the former will participate in the Joint Admission Process or Centralized Counselling organized by IIT Bombay. The UCEED 2025 counselling process for admissions at participating institutes will be done by the respective institutes themselves, and candidates have to apply separately with the obtained UCEED 2025 scores at these participating institutes. IIT Bombay is likely to conduct UCEED 2025 in the third week of January 2025.

Seat allocation to IITs has increased over the previous year. Candidates can compare the seats available in BDes courses at institutes that accept UCEED scores for admission in the previous year to the seats available through UCEED in the table below:

• 5% of seats in each category are reserved for PwD candidates. 
• PwD candidates will be considered for seat allotment only in their birth category quota.

The UCEED Counselling Process 2025 will begin when the test is passed. There are three rounds of UCEED 2025 seat allotment, and the exam-based seat allocation will close after the seats are filled at result-sharing institutes. For 2025, the list of result-sharing colleges has been significantly revised. The UCEED score is now accepted for undergraduate admission to the B.Des programme at the following institutes.

Important Points to Remember While Selecting UCEED Participating Colleges 2025

A little bit of research should be done about the colleges by the students regarding the history of the college, and affiliation of the college before deciding.

• Candidates should make sure that they have some idea about the interview criteria once they get their UCEED scores.

• Every college has a cut-off list for the exams, so the candidates should know if their score has made it to the cut-off of their desired college or not.

• Candidates should have all the required documents while taking admission to a particular college. A lack of even one document can result in a candidate losing his/her seat.
