UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Application Process
UP B.Ed application form is launched on the official website likely in February. Once the notification is out, candidates have to register themselves initially. After registration, they can then log in to the candidate portal and begin filling out the application form.
While form filling, they have to enter personal details and educational qualifications, add exam centre choices, upload documents, pay the fee, and submit the form. After form submission, the applicants have to take a printout of the online application and the receipt of the payment for future reference.
UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Results
The UP B.Ed JEE results are declared on the official portal within three to four weeks tentatively after the exam is conducted. Aspirants have to sign in to the candidate portal to check their results. Please note that the results are declared online only. The conducting university is not responsible for dispatching scorecards/ results etc via offline means. Those who are allocated a state rank based on their performance in the UP B.Ed examination will be eligible for the counselling process.
UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Counselling Registration and Choice Filling
UP B.Ed JEE counselling process will be held online. Those who have secured a state rank in the entrance exam can take part in the counselling process.
Please note to participate in the UP B.Ed counselling, it is mandatory to register. Those who have completed the registration process have to pay the counselling fee and the advance institute/ college fees via online modes such as Net Banking/ Debit Card / Credit Card only.
After registration, the aspirants will be able to exercise college choices during the UP B.Ed choice filling process. They are suggested to provide maximum choices to boost their possibilities of acquiring an allocation in their preferred institute. It is not mandatory to fill the choices in one session. Candidates can save the data, log out from the portal, and come back later to complete the choice filling process. However, while doing so, they must take care of the deadline.
UP B.Ed JEE Counselling Phases
There are 4 phases of the UP B.Ed JEE counselling -
1st Round - Main Counselling
Phase 1
- This is for candidates with state rank 1 to 75000.
- Aspirants are advised to check out the dates and accordingly participate in the counselling.
Phase 2
- Aspirants with state rank 750001 to Last state rank and other left over candidates who have not taken part in the phase 1 counselling can register for phase 2.
- Additionally, those students who have not been assigned seats in phase 1 counselling can directly submit college choices in phase 2.
2nd Round - Pool Counselling
- This round is also valid for all state rank holders in UP B.Ed JEE. Once phase 1 and phase 2 of the 1st round (main counselling) are completed, the pool counselling will be scheduled for the vacant seats.
- All those aspirants who did not take part in the previous phases or were not allocated seats can be a part of pool counselling.
Third Round (for all rank holders) - Direct Admissions
- The direct admissions round (third round) is open for all candidates who secured ranks in UP B.Ed JEE.
- For direct admission, aspirants have to be present in person at the institute/ college. Students will be admitted to the offered course only if seats are available in that particular college/ institute after the 1st round and 2nd round.
Fourth Round - Direct Admission for Minority Seats
- Minority colleges/ institutes have the right to admit students via their entrance tests. However, often the said institutes do not administer their own admission tests and complete the selection process based on the merit list as per the UP B.Ed JEE.
- These institutes then send the admitted candidates for verification to the conducting university.
UP B.Ed JEE 2024 College Allotment
UP B.Ed JEE seat allotment/ college allotment is declared based on the state rank of the students in the admission test and the college preferences added by them during choice filling. The reservation policy of the State will be applicable for Government and Aided institutes/ colleges only. Those who are allocated colleges have to click on the “Accept” button before retrieving the Provisional Allotment cum Confirmation letter.
Candidate Reporting at the Allocated College
After seat allocation, the aspirants have to report to the assigned institute/ college/ university within 3 days from the date of allotment result. They must be present with the original documents/ certificates which will be verified by the Principal/ Verification Officer of the related college/ institute.
