AP EDCET 2024 Selection Process

AP EDCET selection process 2024 will have 2 phases. In the initial phase, candidates must clear the B.Ed admission test. In the subsequent phase, these aspirants can participate in the counselling process via which they will be offered admission to the 2-year B.Ed course.

Once the notification is issued for the application process, candidates have to apply and appear for the test accordingly. Students who successfully pass the entrance exam have to register for the AP EDCET counselling process to be eligible for web options and provisional seat allocation.

AP EDCET 2024 Application Process

The AP EDCET application form is typically launched in April/ May. To complete the application process, candidates have to visit the official website. After paying the online application fee, applicants will be able to fill out the online form. 

The students are advised to note the dates and complete the form submission well in advance. After form submission, candidates are advised to take a printout of the AP EDCET application form.

AP EDCET 2024 Results

The AP EDCET results are tentatively released within a few weeks after the exam. Aspirants have to visit cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EDCET to check their results and access their AP EDCET rank card.

To know their results, candidates have to provide their registration number and AP EDCET hall ticket number. To obtain their AP EDCET rank card, students must submit their registration number, admit card number, and date of birth.

The qualifying mark in AP EDCET for all category candidates, except SC/ ST is 37 out of 150. For aspirants from SC/ ST communities, there is no minimum mark for ranking. Additionally, there is no minimum mark qualifying requirement for women candidates in Physical Sciences or Mathematics methodologies.

AP EDCET 2024 Counselling Registration and Certificate Verification

To participate in the AP EDCET counselling process, candidates must complete the online registration by filling in the particulars and paying the processing fee. After fee payment, they have to upload scanned copies of the certificates for e-verification. 

AP EDCET 2024 Web Options

In the next part, the registered aspirants can exercise AP EDCET web options. To submit web options, aspirants have to open the relevant link and complete the step. Before the deadline, candidates can revisit the AP EDCET web options page and add new choices, alter the sequence or delete some preferences if they want to. If exercised web choices are saved and not "freezer" by the aspirants, the last saved options will be taken into consideration for allotment.

The AP EDCET seat allotment is declared based on the web options submitted by the candidates. Candidates can check their seat allotment results from the official portal. Those who are allotted seats have to report to the assigned college/ institution for physical verification of documents and payment of admission fees.
