NIMCET Counselling 2025

NIMCET counselling 2025 is conducted by the NITs (National Institute of Technology) in online mode. The counselling for the NIMCET exam is expected to commence from June-July 2025. NIMCET counselling process involves stages like registrations, choice filling, document uploading, allotment of seats. Applicants have to keep the document like marksheets, residence certificate, category certificate, and others ready for the NIMCET 2025 counselling. The counseling fees for the NIMCET 2025 exam is Rs 1000/- , once the application fees have been paid it will not be refunded by the authorities at any cost.

After the counselling the candidates will be allocated seats based on their scores, and availability of seats and courses.Thereafter, candidates who will be allotted seats shall have to pay the token fee online to confirm admission to the NIMCET 2025 participating institutes. Through the NIMCET counselling process 2025, candidates will be offered admission to the top participating NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal on the basis of NIMCET scores. Detailed NIMCET 2025 Counselling Procedure

NIMCET 2025 counselling process will commence tentatively in June 2025, in online mode by the National Institute of Technology. The candidates are required to first register themselves for NIMCET counselling 2025 and fill in their choices for the colleges they wish to be admitted to. For the choice filling, the candidates will be required to use their valid Login ID and Password. It must be noted that only those candidates who have cleared the NIMCET 2025 examination with the minimum NIMCET 2025 cutoff marks will be eligible to apply for the counselling procedure.

After the allotment of seats, the candidates have to confirm the same by reporting at any one of the Reporting Centres (RC). The candidates will be given admission based on their rank and choices filled. The candidates must be present at the reporting centre along with all the requisite documents for verification purposes. In order to take the Seat Allotment Letter (SAL), the candidates have to pay INR 10,000/- online which is the initial fee (to be paid through the NIMCET website).

The candidates will have two options, i.e. to either accept the allotted seat or wait for the result of the next counselling round. A provisional admission letter will be issued in the name of those candidates who accept the seat allotted to them while an upgradation letter will be issued to those candidates who want to wait till the result of the next counselling round is declared.

The candidates must also keep in mind that once they have locked their choices, they cannot alter or modify their choices.

Provided below is the step-wise counselling procedure of NIMCET 2025:

Step 1: Registration, Choice-Filling and Locking

In order to participate in the NIMCET 2025 counselling process, the eligible candidates have to register themselves first for the same with the help of their valid Login ID and password. The candidates must fill and lock their choices before the last date else the choices will be locked automatically. Once locked, the candidates cannot alter or modify the choices made. The candidates must take a printout of the same which they must keep possession of till the NIMCET 2025 counselling process is over.

Step 2: Allotment of Seats

Based on the rank obtained by the candidates in the NIMCET 2025 exam and filled choices, they will be offered seats. The seat allotment process will be done in three rounds. Those candidates who have been offered a seat in their desired NIMCET 2025 participating colleges have to personally report at the Reporting Centre along with all their documents to confirm their admission. The candidates must also possess their Seat Allotment Letter which they can download from the official NIMCET website.

Step 3: Surrender of Seats

Those candidates who want to participate in the subsequent counselling rounds will be required to visit their reporting centres and surrender their seats. They have to submit a prescribed application for surrendering their seats.

Step 4: Allotment of Vacant Seats

For those candidates who were not offered any seat during the counselling rounds and those who surrendered their seats, a vacant seat allocation round will be conducted by the concerned authorities. Once a candidate is offered a seat, he/she must pay the admission fee in order to confirm his/her admission.

NIMCET Seat Allotment 2025

NIMCET seat allotment 2025 procedure will be commenced by the National Institute of Technology following the completion of the counselling registration and choice-filling. Candidates must verify the status of their seat allocation, pay fees, and upload original papers online. They will also be required to download the seat allotment letter and report to the appropriate reporting centre. Three rounds of NIMCET 2025 seat allotment will be held, plus an additional round to replace unfilled seats. Candidates who will be assigned seats in the first two rounds must log in to the official website and pay the first fee online. Following that, they will be sent the seat assignment letter.
