    TS LAWCET 2024 Counselling Process

    Here are the major steps of the TS LAWCET counselling process 2024 -

    Registration and Processing Fee Payment

    • Aspirants have to register online within the stipulated dates. Once the online certificate verification link is activated on the official portal, candidates have to provide the credentials such as hall ticket number and rank to log in.
    • Once they sign in they have to furnish the required details in the counselling application form. They must make sure that the details they provide are correct. It is the responsibility of the applicants to enter accurate particulars in the counselling form.
    • Applicants must pay the required non-refundable processing fee for the registration cum verification process. The payment must be done online via Credit Cards/ Debit Cards/ Internet Banking in favour of ‘Secretary, TGCHE’.

    Online Certificate Upload and Verification

    • During the registration process, candidates have to upload scanned copies of the original certificates/ documents as per the criteria mentioned. 
    • The conducting authority will contact the candidates over the phone in case any clarifications are needed if there are any doubts related to the documents.
    • Applicants are advised to respond to the enquiry calls from the verification officer.
    • Physical verification of Special category certificates (NCC / CAP / PH / Sports) by slot booking
    • Applicants who wish to seek special category relaxation (NCC/CAP/PH/Sports and Games) must attend the physical verification of the special category certificates in phase 1 of TS LAWCET counselling as per the given date and time. After phase 1 counselling, the officials will not conduct further certificate verification for Special Categories.
    • Please note that attending in-person verification for special category certificates does not mean that the verification process is complete. Aspirants have to separately upload the educational certificates, caste certificates, income certificates etc., for verification purposes during the counselling process. 
    • Applicants have to book the slot for special category certificate verification and attend the same at the helpline centres.

    Display of verified list of eligible registered candidates & call for corrections if any through e-mail service

    • After the successful completion of the online certificate review, the conducting body will issue the list of registered and eligible aspirants. The list will be displayed on the official website.
    • In case of any errors in the data, candidates are suggested to report the same to the concerned authorities via the helpline centres or email. After the seat allocation is declared, any such concerns raised regarding the verified list will not be entertained.

    Procedure For Exercising and Editing Web Options

    • Candidates on the verified list will be able to take part in the web options process, once the link is launched. 
    • Aspirants have to submit web choices within the dates provided. It is suggested that the applicants complete the web options entry process via desktops or laptops. It is advisable not to use mobiles or tablets for choice filling.
    • In the next step, they have to log in with the credentials received after successful registration. After logging in, they have to add web choices as per their preferences.
    • In the subsequent stage, applicants 
    • After exercising web choices, aspirants must log out after saving the web options. Once done, they can freeze the options.
    • During the option editing window, aspirants can edit web choices or add new ones or remove some of the previously added ones. They are suggested to exercise as many college options as possible to boost their chances of allocation.
    • After completing the process, applicants must take a printout of the final options that they have freezed.

    Seat Allotment and College Reporting

    • The list of provisionally chosen candidates will be prepared college-wise and will be uploaded to the official portal.
    • Candidates on the list have to pay the tuition fees via Credit Cards/ Debit Cards/ Internet Banking.
    • Those who obtained allocation can retrieve the joining report from the official website.
    • The students on the allotment list have to report to the assigned institution/ college within the deadline.
    • After verification of the original certificates is completed and the fee receipt is produced, the final allotment letter will be issued and admission will be granted.

    Certificates must be uploaded when registering and filling out the application form -

    • Applicants with degrees from outside Telangana state must produce an equivalency certificate from any of Telangana's universities
    • Migration Certificate 
    • Certificates of study from fifth grade to graduation
    • Residence certificate for the seven years preceding the qualifying test, i.e., Graduation in the case of students who have studied privately without any institutionalised education (Distance education / Open school education).
    • For non-local candidates, a residence certificate from M. R. O of either parent in Telangana for a period of ten years is required.
    • Non-local candidates must present the required credentials to be considered for allotment under unreserved seats.
    • Applicants who have lived in the State for a total of ten years, barring periods of study outside the State, or either of whose parents have lived in the State for a total of 10 years, excluding periods of employment outside the State, are eligible for a residence certificate.
    • Aspirants who are children of parents who are employed by this State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities, and other similar Quasi Public Institutions within the State at the time of applying for the TS LAWCET 2024 examination must provide an Employer Certificate.
    • Certificate of Transfer
    • In the case of BC / SC / ST applicants, the most recent integrated community certificate issued by the competent government is required.
    • Candidates must present an EWS Certificate issued by MRO / Tahsildar that is valid for the fiscal year 2024-25.
    • The most recent Parental Income Certificate issued by M.R.O. by the Government of Telangana on or after January 1, 2024.
    • Muslim and Christian Minority Candidates should submit the SSC "TC" detailing Minority status (or) a Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution where the student studied / appeared for SSC or its equivalent examination in the absence of TC.
    • Aadhar Card or another form of recognised identification.

    Any fraudulent or inaccurate information provided at any point will declare the candidate's admission null and void. If it is discovered that admittance is in violation of the regulations, the Convener reserves the authority to cancel the candidates' admission at any point.

    Who Should Participate in TS LAWCET Phase II Counselling?

    Provided below are the individuals who should take part in the TS LAWCET Phase II Counseling.

    • Who secured a seat in phase I of web-based counselling and wishes to move to some other college. 

    • Candidates who participated in phase I of web-based counselling and could not secure a seat.

    • Candidates who did not participate in phase I even though he/she has been called for counselling.

    • Candidates who were allotted a seat but didn’t report.

    •  A candidate who was allotted a seat in phase I but cancelled his / her admission.

    TS LAWCET 2024 Counselling: Important Points

    Here are some vital guidelines followed during the certificate verification and counselling process of TS LAWCET 2024 - 

    • The certificate will be verified using scanned copies of uploaded original papers per the standards.
    • If there is any uncertainty, the officials will inquire about the phone to determine the truth and correctness of the documents. 
    • As a result, candidates must return the verification officer's phone calls.
    • Before the start of the web-options entry, a provision/link for exercising choices will be made available on the website, https://lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in.
    • The list of provisionally selected applicants will be prepared college by college and posted on the website http://lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in.
    • The tuition cost must be paid by challan at the approved bank. Candidates who received a seat (provisional allotment) in the counselling can access the website and download the challan and joining report.
    • Final seat allocation for admission is contingent on acceptable verification of all original certificates at the assigned college and the production of a fee-paid challan.
    • Candidates must report to their assigned college and present all original certificates within the specified time frame.
    • Only once all original certificates have been successfully verified will the principal / verification official at the allotted college issue an allotment order. 
    • Candidates must provide two sets of authenticated copies of all certificates to the relevant colleges, one for submission to the Convener's office.
    • If a candidate cancels their admission, the tuition cost will be lost as described below.

               - Following the first phase, the entire tuition money will be reimbursed.

               - Fifty percent of the sum after the final phase and before the cancellation cutoff date specified in the allotment order, and 100 percent after that.

    TS LAWCET 2024 Counselling via Spot Admission

    The TS LAWCET 2024 counselling via spot admissions method has a few key points to keep in mind -

    • In the case of institutional spot admissions, the colleges involved in the counselling process may be given preference in filling vacancies.
    • Qualified applicants are asked to check out the popular regional newspapers for a detailed notice of the open opportunities.
    • Candidates who are interested in being admitted on the spot should appear at the designated time and date in the publication.
    • To fill the remaining seats in the B.Ed programme, applicants from the suitable category who perform well in the TS LAWCET 2024 can apply.
    • Entrants must present all original certificates and one duplicate of each at the time of admission confirmation before being granted admission.
    • Any deviation will be taken extremely seriously, and such admissions will never be confirmed in any official capacity.
    • Applicants must be Indian nationals and have passed the TS LAWCET 2024 to be considered for the programme.

    Rules of Reservation for Admission per TS LAWCET 2024 Counselling

    Below are the rules of reservation for admission as per TS LAWCET 2024 counselling -

    • Admissions will be made following the reservation rules in effect at the time of Counseling. 
    • The Convener TS LAWCET 2024 admissions will fill 100% of the seats in university colleges and 80% of the authorised intake of seats in unassisted (affiliated), non-minority, and minority professional institutions.
    • Enrollment to 85% of the convener quota of seats in Telangana State affiliated colleges should be reserved for Telangana State local candidates, with the remaining 15% being unreserved seats.
    • College principals are urged to fill the management seats quota in compliance with TSCHE regulations by placing a separate notice in major daily publications.
    • The established policies should govern the admission of individuals.
    • The "Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE)" must be informed of the specifics of any seats filled under the Management Quota before they can be confirmed and approved.
    • Aspirants who seek to claim special categories (NCC / CAP / PH / Sports / Games) must undertake the special categories certificate verification during phase I counselling on the appointed date and time.
    • There will be no additional Certificate Verification for Special Categories after the planned date.
    • There will be no certificate verification for special categories in the final phase. Attending the special category certificate validation does not imply that the verification is finished.
    • Candidates must upload educational and other certifications (caste, income, etc.) for mandatory verification before participating in counselling.
    • The candidate requesting admission under special categories must present in person before the appropriate competent authorities for verification.
    • They must also have all of their original education credentials (SSC / 10th / Equivalent, Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent, and Degree / equivalent) with them, as well as the relevant Special Category certificate.
