AP EDCET 2024 Application Form (Closed)

AP EDCET application form 2024 correction portal closed on May 25, 2024. Meanwhile, the last date to submit the online form with a late fee of Rs 2000/- was May 21, 2024. Candidates who registered for the test could appear for AP EDCET 2024 today, June 8, 2024.

AP EdCET 2024 Notification

The AP EdCET 2024 notification was published by the APSCHE in association with the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, on April 16, 2024. The exam date was disclosed in a previous official notice.

Documents Required for AP EdCET 2024 Registration

Below is the list of documents required for AP EdCET 2024 registration -

  • Payment Reference ID
  • Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking Account User ID and its password
  • Marks memos / Hall Ticket Number of Degree / Intermediate / 10th
  • An income certificate issued by a competent authority
  • Education certificates from the 10th standard to the last qualifying examination
  • Passport-size photograph as per the specifications given by the conducting body
  • A scanned copy of the signature created as per the particulars
  • Caste certificate granted by an approved authority

How to fill out the AP EDCET Application Form 2024?

Step 1: Application Fee Payment

Before filling out the APEdCET 2024 application form, candidates have to pay the fee first. They have to furnish the details initially such as the qualifying examination hall ticket number, name of the candidate, date of birth, mobile number, email address, category, and the payment option. 

Once they add the above-mentioned information, they can proceed to pay the cost of the APEdCET application form 2024. They can pay the fee via online methods such as with the help of a Debit Card / Credit Card or Internet banking. 

After the fee has been paid successfully by the aspirants, they will receive a Payment ID, which they must preserve for further reference.

Step 2: Confirm the APEdCET Application Fee Payment Status

After making the APEdCET application form 2024 fee payment, aspirants must confirm the status of the same. They have to click on the ‘Know your payment status’ button and provide their qualifying examination hall ticket number and mobile number used for registration in the previous step.

Step 3: Fill out APEdCET Application Form 2024

Aspirants have to fill out the APEdCET 2024 application form in this step. They must furnish their educational qualification data, personal information, contact details etc.

AP EDCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Here are the major pointers of the AP EDCET 2024 eligibility criteria that must be met by the candidates to fill out the APEdCET application form 2024 -

  • Aspirants must be Indian nationals.
  • They must meet the eligibility for Local / Non-Local status as given in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions Regulation of Admission Order 1974.
  • The aspirants must have completed 19 years of age as of July 1, 2024, in the year the application notification is declared.
  • There is no upper age limit to apply for AP EDCET 2024.
  • The aspirants must be BA / B.Sc / B.Sc (Home Science) / B.Com / BCA / BBM / BE / B.Tech graduates or completed post-graduation in the relevant subjects or a 5-Year integrated degree in a related subject. 
  • Candidates with the above-mentioned degrees must have obtained at least 50% marks or a similar CGPA. Those applicants who are from the other reserved categories such as SC, ST, BC, or Physically Handicapped must have secured a minimum of 40% marks or a CGPA which is equivalent to the said percentage of marks in the last qualifying examination.
  • Aspirants who have BE or B.Tech degrees must have achieved a minimum of 55% marks or equal CGPA. They must have had Mathematics and Physics as subjects to be eligible for the methodology subject of Mathematics.
  • Those who have appeared or are appearing for the final year examination of the said degrees at the time of the AP EDCET 2024 application form filling are also eligible.
  • The candidates have to produce a pass certificate or marks memo during admission.

Corrections in APEdCET Application Form 2024

Candidates can edit the AP EDCET application form 2024 as per the specified dates. However, they have to follow the guidelines provided by the conducting authority during the form correction process.

In this category, the below details are provided that the aspirants cannot modify. However, if they have committed any errors while filling in the data, they can email their request to helpdeskapedcet@apsche.org along with proper supporting documents.
