Step by Step AP EDCET 2024 Counselling Process
Check out the order in which the counselling process for AP EDCET 2024 will be carried out:
Step 1: AP EDCET 2024 Counselling Notification Release
The AP EDCET 2024 qualified candidates are notified regarding the AP EDCET 2024 counselling process through a notification that will be released by the APSCHE on its official website.
Step 2: Online Registration and Payment of Processing Fees Before Certificate Verification
Before Certificate Verification, candidates must pay the processing charges and complete the registration for that respective phase of AP EDCET counselling. Once done successfully, the applicants can upload the certificates for verification in the next stage.
Candidates as per their reservation category can pay the fees online via credit card / debit card / net banking through the Pay Processing Fee” direct link provided in the official website.
All applicants ranked from 1 to the last rank can pay the processing charges as per the counselling schedule.
To make the payment or know their payment status, candidates have to enter their hall ticket number and their date of birth. After making the payment, candidates must take a printout of the same and keep it with them for future reference.
Candidates must note that before uploading their certificates, the payment must be successfully done.

Step 3: Verification of Documents
The admissions committee will verify the certificates and documents of the candidates online. The candidates must note that only original scanned certificates / documents granted by the respective institutions / universities will be accepted. Certificates retrieved from websites will not be given consideration. Candidates must note that the original certificates must not be deposited in the institute at the time of admission.
Here is the list of scanned original certificates to be submitted by the applicants during registration -
- AP EDCET 2024 Hall Ticket
- AP EDCET 2024 Rank Card
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Degree Marks Memos or Consolidated Marks Memos
- Degree Provisional Certificate
- Intermediate Marks Memo or Diploma Marks Memo
- SSC or similar Marks Memo Study Certificates from Class IX to Degree
- Residence Certificate for candidates who had no institutionalised education applicable to Private candidates of AP State.
- Residence certificate of the parents (or any among the parents) in AP for 10 years other than the period of employment outside the State from an approved authority if applicable.
- Latest Income Certificate or Ration Card issued by an authorised authority having the name of the candidate
- Caste Certificate by competent authority for of SC / ST / BC category applicants
- Latest Economically Weaker Section or EWS certificate if applicable
- Local status certificate where applicable.
Step 4: Choice Filling / Web Options
With the help of the given Login ID and password, the candidates will be able to choose the college during the AP EDCET choice filling process into which they desire to get admission from the given list of options. In addition to choosing colleges, the candidates can also choose from the list of courses and submit their choices before the last date.
Step 5: Editing and Freezing of Options
The candidates will also be allowed to edit and modify the options which they exercised during the previous step. There is no limit to the number of times the candidates can modify their choices of colleges and courses.
Step 6: Final Seat Allotment
The result of the final AP EDCET seat allotment will be notified to those candidates who have been allocated a seat in one of the AP EDCET 2024 participating colleges. APSCHE will release the information on its official website as well as a letter of allotment will be issued to the candidates. Once a candidate has received their allotment letter, they will have to visit the allocated institute or college well before the last date for confirmation of seat.
