AP EDCET 2024 Result (Out)

AP EDCET result 2024 was declared on June 27, 2024, by the APSCHE. Candidates have to visit cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EDCET to obtain the AP EDCET 2024 rank cards and view their results.

The entrance test was conducted on June 8, 2024, from 9 AM to 11 AM. Applicants who qualify the entrance examination will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. • Applicants will have to visit the website of AP EDCET - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

• They will then have to enter the login details including the hall ticket number and registration number.

• Click on the “View result” option available on the page.

• Aspirants will then have to save a copy of the AP EdCET result 2024.

The details mentioned on the AP EDCET 2024 rank card are as follows - 

• Maximum marks

• Candidate's Date of Birth

• Photograph of candidate

• Marks obtained by the candidate in all sections

AP EDCET 2024 Tie-Breaking Criteria

If two candidates scored the same marks in the AP EDCET 2024 result then Part C will be taken into consideration while calculating the relative ranking. If there is further the same situation then Part A will be taken into consideration.

Age will be considered if two candidates scored the same percentage in both segments. The older aspirants will be given priority over the younger ones. 

AP EDCET 2024 Qualifying Marks

The qualifying mark for AP EDCET 2024 is 37 out of the maximum marks. Candidates belonging to all of the categories including SC / ST will have to score at least 25% marks to qualify for further rounds. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for women in mathematics methodologies / Physical Sciences.

How is AP EDCET 2024 Result Calculated?

The final result of the AP EDCET 2024 entrance exam will be calculated based on the marking scheme finalised by the conducting body. Applicants will be awarded one mark for each correct answer while there will not be any deduction. The result card will be prepared by referring to the marking scheme.

When calculating a candidate's final score, the conducting body bears the marking system in mind and adheres to it. The AP EDCET 2024 exam will be broken down into three sections. Here is a breakdown of how the AP EDCET result calculation is done - 

• According to the AP EDCET 2024 test pattern, the total number of questions in the exam is 150. The questions will be in multiple-choice style. 
• The first two portions will be compulsory for all candidates, while the third section will allow them to select one of the five subjects provided.
• Each question will contain four possibilities, and applicants must choose the best one.
• Exam-takers will receive one point for each accurate attempt. In the AP EDCET 2024 test, no marks will be deducted for wrong attempts. 
• There will be no negative grading or marking for questions that are not tried. When a candidate selects more than one choice for a question, it is considered an wrong attempt
• Candidates will be assigned a rank based on their performance in the AP EDCET 2024. 

AP EDCET 2024 Rank List and Rank Card

The APSCHE will issue the AP EDCET 2024 rank list for the courses offered. The Rank list will contain all AP EDCET exam participants' rank-wise scores. Candidates can view the AP EDCET rank card through the official website. To view the rank card, students must submit their registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth. Prospects will be ranked in order of merit in each technique based on their performance in the AP EDCET 2024 examination.

How many candidates will be invited for AP EDCET Counselling 2024?

The AP EDCET rank list will be referred to invite applicants to the final step of the admission process, which includes counselling and seat allocation. Applicants are invited to counselling in numbers more than the number of available seats, based on their AP EDCET rank.

AP EDCET 2024 Reservation Criteria

Here are some of the pointers of the AP EDCET result 2024 for local area-wise reservations -

• Admission to 85 per cent of seats in each methodology should be allocated for local applicants, with the remaining 15 per cent remaining unreserved, as provided in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions.
• The districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, and Prakasam shall be considered the Andhra University-Local Area.
• Sri Venkateswara University-LocalArea refers to the area of the state that includes the districts of Anantapur, Kurnool, Chittoor, Kadapa, and Nellore. All Telangana districts would be considered Osmania University-local areas.
• In the case of State-wide Institutions, such as Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visva Vidyalayam, Tirupati, and Dravidian University etc., admission to 85 per cent of seats in each methodology shall be reserved for applicants from the three local areas mentioned above, with the remaining 15 per cent kept for open competition.

What after AP EDCET 2024 Result Declaration?

Following the announcement of the results, applicants must attend the counselling organised by the AP EDCET officials. Candidates get accepted to the B.Ed programmes at the participating institutions/ colleges that recognise AP EDCET scores using this approach.

Validity of AP EDCET Result 2024

The AP EDCET 2024 rank is only eligible for admission to the B.Ed. programme for the academic year 2024-2025.
