Steps to Fill AP EDCET 2024 Web Options
Applicants must indicate their course and institute preferences phase-wise counselling round while filling in the web options for the same. After the choice filling process concludes, the conducting authority will declare the seat allotment result as per the counselling schedule.
During the seat allotment process, the conducting body will take into consideration the web choices provided by the candidates. They will be assigned courses and institutes, as per their preferences. Candidates are urged to have a copy of the filled-in form of AP EDCET web options, for any future reference.
Candidates can follow the steps given below to exercise the AP EDCET 2024 web options:
Step 1 - The candidates need to visit the official website of AP EDCET counselling and click on the web options link.
Step 2 - They now have to enter their AP EDCET 2024 Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth.
Step 3 - After that, candidates will have to enter their mobile number and they will then receive an OTP on that number via SMS.
Step 4 - They have to Enter the OTP and click on 'Submit'.
Step 5 - Candidates can select the district to view the list of colleges available in their respective districts. They can also select 'All' in the District category to view the list of all colleges. The government, self-financing, and private colleges will be displayed in different colours.
Step 6 - If they need to select any college, click on the + icon, and the selected college will be displayed on the right side of the page. Aspirants can select as many colleges as they want.
Step 7 - After completing the choice filling process, they have to click on the 'Save' option.
Step 8 - They can select the 'Freeze' option if they are 100% sure about the college options. No edit option will be visible if they choose 'Freeze'. Therefore, it is advisable to wait till the last date of choice filling to 'Freeze' the choices so that they can edit if required.
Step 9 - The candidates can take the printout of their web options slip that will contain the list of selected colleges and courses.
