What is the Tie-Breaking Rule in IIT JAM Result 2025?

If there is a tie between two candidates who have taken IIT JAM examination, their score becomes a tie, then the candidate with a higher positive marks will be awarded higher rank. The candidate who has less positive marks between the two will awarded lower rank than the other did. Even in this, the tie breaking criteria fails to judge two candidates, and then two of them will be awarded the same rank.  

Candidates appearing in the JAM exam must know about the tie-breaking rule in IIT JAM 2025 result, which are mentioned below.

• The conducting authorities will be using the rank-based tie-breaking criterion for the candidates, if two or above candidates score similar marks in the exam.
• As per the rule of IIT JAM tie-breaking, candidates who have higher ratios of positive marks to negative marks will be given a higher rank.

IIT JAM Cutoff 2025

IIT JAM cutoff 2025 will be released along with the IIT JAM 2025 result. IIT Delhi will announce the IIT JAM cutoff 2025 in two different rounds. The first round of the IIT JAM cut off 2025 will be completely on the basis of  candidate’s performance and marks obtained  in the IIT JAM 2025 exam.
