AP ICET Exam Analysis 2025

AP ICET exam analysis 2025 will be made available for all shifts of the exam. Caniddates will be able to check the overall difficulty level, number of good attempts, section-wise topics, and more through the paper analysis.

AP ICET exam will be conducted online in two shifts and will last 150 minutes. Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer, and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. AP ICET is a state-level entrance exam for admission to MBA/MCA Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates can access the AP ICET exam analysis from the past years for detailed information about the question paper, overall and sectional difficulty levels, topic weightage, types of questions, and expected cutoffs.

May 6 Shift 1

The AP ICET 2024 May 6 Shift 1 exam was successfully concluded at 11:30 AM. The overall exam difficulty level as per the student consensus was moderately challenging. Candidates found the Communication Ability to be the easiest of all three sections while the most relatively difficult section was Mathematical Ability. AP ICET Exam Analysis 2022

Andhra University conducted AP ICET 2022 in two sessions on July 25. Slot 1 exam concluded at 11:30 AM and Slot 2 was held from 03:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The exam analysis will give candidates an idea of the difficulty level of the AP ICET question paper. Session 1 and 2 of the AP ICET exam 2022 was moderately easy according to the exam taker's reaction. AP ICET 2021 Analysis (Slot 1)

Test takers can take a look at last year’s analysis of AP ICET slot 1 for all three sections in detail provided below.

Mathematical Ability: The questions asked in the section were time-consuming and a bit difficult to attempt.

• Slot 1 was moderately difficult compared to Slot 2. A total of 75 questions were asked.
• Some of the questions were based on direct substitution, direct substitution in Formulae, and application of concepts.
• The questions from Pure Mathematics were asked in the question paper differently.
• The section covered questions from topics such as Progression, Time & Work, Derivatives, Profit & Loss, Algebra,  Matrices & Determinants, Trigonometry, Probability, Simple and Quadratic Equations Geometry, Limits, Sets, Functions, Binomial & Remainder Theorem,  Relations.

Analytical Ability: Some of the questions from the section were lengthy and difficult to crack.

• A total of 75 questions out of which 55 from Problem-Solving and 20 from Data Sufficiency were asked in the AP ICET exam.
• Overall the question paper was moderate 

Communication Ability: Candidates were able to solve the total of 50 questions timely.

• Questions were lengthy but were simple to answer.
• Questions asked in both slots were similar i.e, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary.
• Reading passages were to be answered in 200 to 300 words.

AP ICET 2021 Analysis (Slot 2)

Analytical Ability: 

• The overall section was moderate to crack. 
• A total of 75 questions were asked in the section, which is divided into two parts Data sufficiency and Problem-solving.
• Some of the topics asked in the question paper were coding and decoding problems, pie charts, seating arrangement, and bar diagrams.

Mathematical Ability: 

• The section was simple to crack but was time-consuming
• A total of 75 questions were asked on topics such as  Profit and Loss, Time & Work, Numbers, Ratio and Proportion, Number system, Mensuration, and Geometry.

Communication Ability: 

• The questions were difficult to attempt compared to slot 1. 
• The questions were asked on topics like Grammar, Comprehension, and Vocabulary.

Expected AP ICET Cutoff 2025

The expected AP ICET 2025 cutoff will be lower compared to the previous year. According to the experts, the reason for the same is the difficulty level of the  Analytical Ability and Mathematical Ability sections. The AP ICET cutoff 2025 will be released by Sri Krishnadevaraya University after the declaration of results.
