AP ICET Paper Analysis 2025 (Available for Both Slots)

The AP ICET Paper Analysis 2025 for Slot 1 and 2 is now available, and as per the majority of students, Slot 2 was well balanced. Mathematical Ability was the most time-consuming, in addition to some questions from the Analytical Ability section.  Communication Ability was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. An attempt of 110 to 120 will be a good score for students.

The overall difficulty level of Slot 1, concluded at 11:30, was moderate to difficult. As per the student feedback, the communication ability section was moderate, the Analytical Ability section was moderate, and the Mathematical ability section was moderate to difficult. Most of the questions asked were pretty straightforward, with a few tricky questions. The Mathematical Ability section was time-consuming for many students. Some of the questions in the slot 1 question paper were similar to those of the previous year's question paper, but with a little variation. Mathematical Ability: The questions asked in the section were time-consuming and a bit difficult to attempt.

  • Slot 1 was moderately difficult compared to Slot 2. A total of 75 questions were asked.
  • Some of the questions were based on direct substitution, direct substitution in Formulae, and application of concepts.
  • The questions from Pure Mathematics were asked in the question paper differently.
  • The section covered questions from topics such as Progression, Time & Work, Derivatives, Profit & Loss, Algebra,  Matrices & Determinants, Trigonometry, Probability, Simple and Quadratic Equations Geometry, Limits, Sets, Functions, Binomial & Remainder Theorem,  Relations.

Analytical Ability: Some of the questions from the section were lengthy and difficult to crack.

  • A total of 75 questions out of which 55 from Problem-Solving and 20 from Data Sufficiency were asked in the AP ICET exam.
  • Overall the question paper was moderate 

Communication Ability: Candidates were able to solve the total of 50 questions timely.

  • Questions were lengthy but were simple to answer.
  • Questions asked in both slots were similar i.e, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary.
  • Reading passages were to be answered in 200 to 300 words.

  • The overall section was moderate to crack. 
  • A total of 75 questions were asked in the section, which is divided into two parts Data sufficiency and Problem-solving.
  • Some of the topics asked in the question paper were coding and decoding problems, pie charts, seating arrangement, and bar diagrams.

Mathematical Ability: 

  • The section was simple to crack but was time-consuming
  • A total of 75 questions were asked on topics such as  Profit and Loss, Time & Work, Numbers, Ratio and Proportion, Number system, Mensuration, and Geometry.

The expected AP ICET 2025 cutoff will be lower compared to the previous year. According to the experts, the reason for the same is the difficulty level of the  Analytical Ability and Mathematical Ability sections. The AP ICET cutoff 2025 will be released by Sri Krishnadevaraya University after the declaration of results.

Is the difficulty level AP ICET similar to other MBA entrance exams?

The difficulty level of AP ICET is not similar to other MBA entrance exams. CAT, XAT, and MICAT  are considered the toughest entrance exams in India. However, exams like TS ICET, KMAT, MAT, ATAM, etc. have the same level of difficulty as AP ICET.
