FAQs about AP ICET

What is AP ICET choice filling?

AP ICET choice filling is a crucial step in the counseling process of the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET). It involves candidates selecting and prioritizing their preferred colleges and courses from the available options. The choice filling process allows candidates to express their preferences and aspirations for higher education, guiding the subsequent seat allotment process. During choice filling, candidates log in to their counseling accounts on the official AP ICET counseling website. They review the list of participating colleges and the courses offered by each college. Candidates enter the names of colleges and the corresponding courses they are interested in pursuing. They can add multiple choices based on their preferences.

When does AP ICET choice filling begin?

The exact dates for AP ICET choice filling can vary each year, and it is typically announced by the conducting authority. Candidates should regularly check the official website or information bulletin for updates on the choice filling process.

How do I access the AP ICET choice filling portal?

The AP ICET choice filling portal is usually accessible through the official website of the exam conducting authority. Candidates need to log in using their credentials, such as their registration number and password, to access the choice filling portal.

What are the steps involved in AP ICET choice filling?

The steps involved in AP ICET choice filling typically include logging into the choice filling portal, viewing the list of available options, prioritizing the options by indicating preferences, saving the choices, and finally submitting the choices within the specified deadline. The stages involved in the AP ICET choice filling process are candidate registration, document verification, login to counselling portal, choice filling, choice locking, mock allotment (if applicable), choice modification, final choice submission, allotment result, and reporting to the allotted college.

Can I change my choices after submitting them?

Typically, there is a certain period during which candidates can make changes to their choices before the AP ICET final allotment is conducted. Many counseling processes offer a specific window during which candidates can make changes to their choices. This is often called the "choice modification" or "choice editing" period. During this time, candidates can add, delete, or reorder their choices based on their preferences.

Are there any restrictions on the number of choices I can fill?
