Overall AP ICET Question Paper 2021 Analysis
The AP ICET 2021 exam was, by and large, regarded as moderately difficult. Given below is the section-wise detailed AP ICET exam analysis according to students' feedback.
Analytical Ability
In this section, Problem-Solving questions were time-consuming and involved complicated calculations and logical reasoning, which contributed to the section being a tad difficult. On the other hand, Data Sufficiency questions seemed comparatively easier and direct. Students relied purely on basic concepts and took less time to solve. Many students reported that effective time management was the key in this section since the questions required them to think thoroughly and choose an answer quickly. The ones who regularly practiced analytical problems seemed to handle this section better.
Mathematical Ability
The Mathematical Ability section was of moderate difficulty level. It included Arithmetic, Profit and Loss, Time and Work, Probability, and Geometry as the key areas of concentration. Most questions were formula-based and direct, while some posed complications needing deeper conceptual understanding and high multi-step calculations. Those who were pretty good at the mathematical basics found it easy, while for those who had seen little practice, time-consuming questions were troublesome. Constant practice and exposure to mathematical concepts were quite helpful in this section.
Communication Ability
The Communication Ability section seemed to be the easiest of the three with a range of questions from easy to moderate. Vocabulary and Functional Grammar were relatively easy and had good scoring opportunities. The Reading Comprehension passed a little lengthy books were, however, better manageable for students who had some practice beforehand. In contrast, some students said that for each of those comprehension questions, detailed reading was essential, and they needed to focus more on the details to avoid making mistakes; the section, therefore, could safely be considered a scoring one since it required only a basic command of English grammar and reading skills.
