The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an Indian national entrance examination that predominantly tests the wide understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Master's Program and Job in Public Sector Enterprises. GATE 2024 is conducted for the candidates who are willing to pursue MTech and MPlan courses in the top participating institutes of GATE 2024. The GATE 2024 exam is held by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee), on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI).

After logging onto the GATE 2024 official website, candidates will be given the option to select the demanded courses and colleges.
Candidates should check the cut-offs of the desired participating colleges of GATE 2024
Candidates can also choose more than one institute as per their choice in the GATE 2024 application form
Once the choices are filled, candidates will have to lock their selected preferences by clicking on the ‘Submit’ tab
