GATE 2025 participating colleges are the institutes that will accept the scores acquired by the candidates in the GATE 2025 examination. The counselling process of GATE 2025 for the participating colleges is conducted separately for the qualified candidates. Moreover, the counselling processes of NITs and IIITs are different. The NITs and IIITs conduct centralized counselling for MTech and MPlan (CCMT) candidates.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an Indian national entrance examination that predominantly tests the wide understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Master's Program and Job in Public Sector Enterprises. GATE 2025 is conducted for the candidates who are willing to pursue MTech and MPlan courses in the top participating institutes of GATE 2025. The GATE 2025 exam is held by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee), on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI).

How to Fill Choices During GATE 2025 Registration Process?

Candidates are required to select their preferred college while filling out the GATE 2025 registration form and apply for admission to the GATE participating colleges 2025. It is important to consider the branch-wise GATE Cutoff 2025 set by each participating institute and the seats available for admission. The following are the steps to fill in choices during GATE counselling registration - 

  1. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of GATE 2025 i.e. gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

  2. After logging onto the GATE 2025 official website, candidates will be given the option to select the demanded courses and colleges.

  3. Candidates should check the cut-offs of the desired participating colleges of GATE 2025

  4. Candidates can also choose more than one institute as per their choice in the GATE 2025 application form

  5. Once the choices are filled, candidates will have to lock their selected preferences by clicking on the ‘Submit’ tab

Note: Candidates must cross-check the application form of GATE 2025 twice before clicking on the 'Submit' button.
