GATE cutoff marks are determined by various factors like the number of students registering, seats available, student’s category, difficulty level of the exam, etc. There are two types of GATE cutoff; admission and qualifying cutoff. The GATE qualifying cutoff 2024 is the marks that students must score to pass the exam. GATE admission cutoff is released by the respective participating colleges and it varies institute-wise. For example, the GATE cutoff for IIT is higher than the GATE cutoff for NIT. You can check the GATE 2024 cutoff for Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ECE, and other papers here.
