Who is eligible to register for the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP)?
Candidates with a qualifying GATE score (2023, 2022, or 2021) and who are applying for M.Tech. admissions at any of the participating institutes of COAP may register at COAP.
Can I use COAP to apply for a job or an M.Tech. at participating institutions or PSUs?
No. COAP is not a portal for M.Tech. admissions or employment applications. Each candidate must submit a separate application to the appropriate Institute(s) for M.Tech. Admission and PSU's for employment.
How will the students be allotted seats to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs through GATE counselling?
The students will be allotted seats for NITs, IIITs and CFTIs through GATE CCMT counselling.

The students will be allotted seats for IITs through GATE COAP counselling.

The seats in the GATE counselling process will be allotted on the basis of GATE score.

Every candidate who has qualified for the GATE counselling process will have to pay a counselling fee.
