GATE 2025 Architecture & Planning Syllabus

The GATE 2025 Architecture & Planning syllabus has been released by IIT Roorkee on its official website. You can access the GATE AR syllabus PDF on this page too. In order to prepare well for the exam, you must have a good knowledge about the whole syllabus. The GATE 2025 syllabus for Architecture & Planning consists of topics from General Aptitude and core disciplines including Architecture and Planning.

The GATE exam for Architecture and Planning (AR) has a different marking scheme as compared to other GATE 2025 exam. It includes a General Aptitude section of 15 marks, which is common for all candidates. The exam also has a compulsory section, Part A, which everyone must complete, contributing 60 marks. During the exam, you can choose either Part B1 (Architecture) or Part B2 (Planning), which accounts for 25 marks. The total marks for the exam are 100, and you are given 180 minutes to complete it.
