The CEED Exam is conducted in both, the online as well as the offline mode. As you must be aware, this exam consists of 2 sections, Part A and Part B. CEED Part A is an objective-type section and is held in the Computer-Based Mode, whereas, the subjective section of Part B, it is held in the offline mode.
Please take note of the fact that clearing the CEED Exam does not guarantee admission to any programme. A student appearing for the CEED Exam must apply to each and every participating university and if they manage to clear their eligibility criteria and pass through the round of personal interviews to stand eligible for admission to postgraduate/doctorate design programmes.
In order to crack the CEED Exam 2025, a preparation strategy is of utmost importance. Preparing a study schedule and adhering to it with a disciplined outlook will fetch you the results you desire to achieve. The first step in preparing for CEED 2025 is to understand the basics of this exam through the previous year question papers and CEED Syllabus 2025. Once you are aware of what the question paper asks of you, you will then have to choose your study material. Consistent practice of design and drawing, in addition to sitting for mock tests on a regular basis is the key to cracking the CEED Exam.
The total number of marks for the CEED Exam 2025 will be 200 marks. According to the CEED exam pattern released by IIT Bombay for the year 2025, it is stated that the exam will be divided into 2 sections, Part A and Part B. Part A will consist of 41 objective-type questions which will last for a span of 1 hour. These 41 questions will include Numerical Answer Type (NATs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). As for CEED Part B, there will be a total of 5 subjective-type questions which will test the candidate’s drawing and designing skills.
IIT Bombay has released the eligibility criteria for the CEED Exam 2025. According to the criteria, candidates are required to have completed a degree/diploma/postgraduate degree programme of a minimum of three years after completing their 10+2, or must be appearing for the final examination/semester of such a programme by July 2025, or candidates must have passed the GD Arts Diploma programme (10+5) level latest by July 2025.
