There has been no specification made by IIT Bombay on the number of attempts a candidate can appear for when it comes to the CEED exam.
The formula for calculating CEED cutoff is given as follows: µ + (σ 2) = δ, where µ and σ are the average marks obtained and standard deviation of the distribution of marks procured by all the students who appeared for Part-A of CEED 2025. The µ and σ will be rounded off after the first decimal place.
The total number of students who appeared for the CEED exam 2024 was 4,910. However, the total number of students who registered for CEED 2024 was 6,037.
The difficulty level of the CEED Exam 2024 is believed to be somewhere between moderate to difficult. MCQ section in CEED exam Part A was the easiest out of all the other sections if compared.
The standard and mean deviation for CEED exam 2024 are 16.72 and 41.90. The qualifying marks for the Open category are 30 marks, 27 marks for OBC-NCL/EWS, and 15 marks for SC/ST categories and people belonging to PwD.
