CEED Participating Colleges 2025

At present, eight institutes are part of the CEED 2025 participating institutes and use the CEED 2025 scores to let in students into the MDes and PhD programs. These institutes together offer more than 302 seats in the M.Des program. However, it should be noted that, unlike UCEED, IIT Bombay will not administer a Joint Admission Process or counselling for the CEED 2025 participating institutes. The scores will be released and the candidates need to apply individually to different institutes. Each participating college will then put up on its portal a counseling-cum-application form wherein the applicants can register, upload the CEED 2025 scorecards, and submit all required documents.

Some institutes may conduct additional admissions processes, such as personal interviews and portfolio evaluations. Only candidates with a rank on the CEED 2025 merit list can apply, and each institute will create its merit list to choose candidates for admission. IIT Bombay will also release a list of institutions that recognise exam scores. The CEED 2025 exam is set for January 19, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

As far as those who qualify for the test are concerned, this is followed by an application round and then counselling in the colleges chosen as its partners.

Steps for College Applications

  • Online Form Submission: You can fill out and submit the application form through the official websites of CEED colleges. Fill out the online form with all the personal details, academic history, and details of CEED scores.

If your rank matches the cutoff for an institution on your list, you will be admitted based on the highest eligible ranking.

How to Choose a CEED Participating College 2025

Selecting the right college can be challenging, and candidates should consider various factors before making a decision. Here are some essential points to keep in mind:

  • Fee Structure: The cost of education is a crucial factor. Candidates should carefully compare the fee structures of different colleges before making a decision. It's advisable not to rush and make an informed choice.
  • Ranking and Reviews: Consider the college's ranking and reviews. Rankings provide insights into the institution's quality. Reviews from current or former students offer valuable perspectives that can aid in decision-making.
  • Infrastructure and Basic Facilities: The college's infrastructure is vital. Assess classrooms, labs, sports facilities, the canteen, and other amenities. A conducive learning environment enhances the overall college experience.
  • Placement: Placement opportunities are significant. Investigate the college's placement record and process. Reputed colleges often have well-established placement mechanisms. Successful placements are indicative of a college's credibility.
  • Campus Center: The campus is where students spend a considerable amount of time. Explore the campus through pictures or, if possible, visit it in person. A pleasant and well-equipped campus contributes to a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Alumni and Success Stories: The success stories of alumni reflect the college's academic reputation. Consider what former students say about their alma mater and how the college contributed to their success. Alumni testimonials provide valuable insights into a college's impact on careers.

Making a decision based on these considerations can help candidates choose a college that aligns with their academic and personal preferences.

CEED 2025 Result Sharing Institutes

When it comes to short-listing candidates for admission to CEED 2025, the evaluation process differs between result-sharing and participating institutes. Since a result-sharing institute analyses scores from numerous entrance tests, participating institutes rely only on CEED 2025 scores for admitting students to M.Des programs.

For example, IIT Delhi exclusively takes CEED scores and will not consider scores obtained through other exams such as NIFT or NID. If you apply to a result-sharing institute, they may consider scores from other admission tests in the selection process. The scores accepted by each institute may be known while searching at the institute's admission portal.

The list of participating institutes will be updated on the CEED 2025 portal once finalised, but we have included some that have already been confirmed:

CEED 2025 Score Accepting Colleges

Design colleges or universities that accept CEED 2025 scores evaluate applicants primarily based on their achievement on the CEED admission exam. In addition to the exam results, certain universities may conduct additional rounds, such as interviews or counselling sessions, for candidates seeking admission. Admission criteria may also differ depending on the candidate's category, as many institutions have distinct reservation rules.

Candidates seeking these colleges should be aware of each institution's unique selection process and prepare accordingly. Certain colleges may additionally set certain cutoffs for CEED scores in order to choose candidates for admission. Overall, the CEED 2025 exam provides an excellent chance for aspiring designers to pursue M.Des and Ph.D. programs at India's top design schools. Each CEED 2025 participating college has its own eligibility requirements, seat capacity, fee structure, and course offerings.
