The passing marks for the CEED Exam vary according to the various categories. For the General Category, the passing marks are 24.58, for OBC-Non Creamy Layer, 22.12, and for SC/ST/PwD, 13.65.
The fees for the CEED Exam 2025 is INR 3,800 for the General Category. However, for female candidates, SC, ST, and PwD category, the CEED Exam fees is INR 1,900.
The CEED Exam, or the Common Entrance Examination for Design is conducted by IIT Bombay to offer admissions to students in MDes and PhD programmes.
According to the official website of IIT Bombay, students must have completed a degree/diploma/post graduate degree programme of minimum three years (after 10+2 level), or must be appearing for the final examination of such a programme by July 2025, or must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2025.
It is said that the CEED Exam is slightly easier than the NID Entrance Exam, however the students must not take the exam lightly and should try to give their best to get admission into the college they desire to pursue their MDes from.
