The latest CEED 2025 syllabus has been released by IIT Bombay. The exam will have two parts- Part A will have questions related to topics such as visualization and spatial reasoning, practical and scientific knowledge, observation and design sensitivity, language, creativity, etc. Part B will have questions related to drawing, drawing, communication, and problem identification.

CEED 2025 Part B Syllabus

The CEED Examination, or the Common Entrance Examination for Design 2025 is expected to be held on January 19, 2025. This exam is divided into 2 sections, Part A and Part B. Part A of the CEED Exam consists of objective-type questions and Part B of the CEED Exam consists of subjective questions related to drawing, design aptitude, sketching and more. IIT Bombay has released the Information Brochure for CEED 2025 on its official website wherein the syllabus for CEED Part B has been mentioned in great detail. What is the difference between UCEED and CEED?

One of the major reasons between UCEED and the CEED Exams is that the former exam is conducted by IIT Bombay for students who wish to get admission to undergraduate-level design programmes, whereas the CEED Exam is conducted at the national level by IIT Bombay to provide admissions to students in postgraduate/doctorate level programmes. Candidates can sit for the UCEED exam a maximum of 2 times, that too in simultaneous years, whereas students can sit for the CEED Exam as many times as they would like to.

CEED Exam 2025 admits candidates to MDes programmes at some of the most revered institutes in India. How many times can I attempt the CEED Exam?

There is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate can give when it comes to the CEED Exam. IIT Bombay, the institute that is responsible for conducting the CEED Exam hasn’t mentioned any upper age limit either for the candidates aspiring to sit for the CEED Exam. Candidates can attempt the exam as many times as they like until they reach the age limit criteria. However, as for the UCEED Exam, candidates can only appear for 2 attempts at the maximum and that too in simultaneous years.

Can I crack the CEED Exam without coaching?

Yes, it is possible to crack the CEED Exam without coaching. The only way to achieve this goal is via regular and disciplined practice and a consistent approach towards this exam.
