Odisha 10th Grading System 2025: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has set BSE Odisha 10th grading system depending on which it provide grades to the students. It is an eight-point scale that includes grades from ‘A1’ To ‘F’ where A1 is the highest and F is the lowest grade. Students scoring between 90% to 100% (540 to 600 marks) will be awarded an “A1" grade, while they who will score between 80% and 90% (480 to 539 marks) will be given A2. The students who score 33% or below marks will be provided with an “F” grade. This denotes the students will have to re-appear for the exam. Students must score at least 33% marks to pass the exam. They who will not be able to clear the regular Odisha 10th Board exam 2025, will have to appear for the Odisha 10th supplementary exam 2025.
Students who will secure 60% marks or more are ranked in 1st division. Those who will obtain between 45% and 60% in the aggregate will be considered to have passed in the Second Division. Students receiving between 30% and 45% in the aggregate will considered to have passed in the Third Division. The Board has decided to give marks in each subject and the total marks secured by a student in all the subjects will be calculated. Then, the grades would be awarded on the aggregate score of a student.

Odisha 10th Grading System 2025 for Internal Assessment

Odisha 10th Passing Marks 2025
According to the Board of Secondary Education Odisha, students are required to obtain a minimum number of marks to be declared as “Passed” in the board exam. Check the passing marks here:
- Students are required to score 33% marks in every subject included in the curriculum to be declared as a “Pass”
- Students who fail to achieve the minimum passing marks in the board exams will be required to appear for the compartment exams.

There will be 6 subjects in total that students have to appear for in the BSE Odisha exam 2025. Each paper will be carrying a total of 100 marks. Odisha 10th Result Revaluation Process 2025
Since the Odisha Board introduced this new Odisha 10th Grading System, it also initiated the process of revaluation that same year. According to this scheme, if a student is not satisfied with their result, he/she can apply for the revaluation process. Students must make sure that they apply for the Revaluation process within 7 days of the Odisha HSC result declaration, as this is the timeline prescribed by the Board. The students also need to pay a fee of ₹700 to avail of the services of revaluation of the result. If the revaluation accounts for an increment of more than six marks, action will be taken against the evaluators.
Odisha 10th Compartment Exams 2025
Despite securing 33% marks in the aggregate result, if a student fails to secure the minimum marks required to clear a subject i.e. 33% in one or more subjects will be allowed to provide the Odisha 10th Compartment Exams 2025 in the failed subjects. A student can avail of a maximum of 3 consecutive chances to take the Odisha 10th Compartmental Exams 2025. The student can avail of this benefit to improve their scores and claim the Odisha HSC passing certificate. The board will announce the
