About UP Board 10th Exam Pattern 2024-25
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will continue with the same UPMSP 10th exam pattern 2025 in this academic year as well. Students will have to appear for 5 subjects in total, where there will be 2 language papers along with Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. A total of 100 marks are allotted for every subject included in the curriculum which is divided into 70 marks for theory and 30 marks for practical exams and internal assessments. The 70-mark question paper will contain 50-mark descriptive-type questions and 20-mark objective-type questions. Science will have both practical exams and internal assessments, rest of the subjects will have only internal assessments. Students are required to get 33% marks in both theory and practical exams to be considered a “Pass”. The question paper will include MCQs as well as objective-type questions divided evenly throughout the paper. - The exam will be conducted in the offline mode (pen and paper).
- The subjects that are included in UP Board 10th Exam Pattern 2024-25 are Hindi, English Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Additional Subjects.
- The exam will be conducted for a total of 3 hours duration.
- The question papers will be divided into two parts.
- The first part will consist of 30% multiple choice questions which the candidates will have to attempt on an OMR sheet. The next part will consist of 70% descriptive questions which the candidates will have to attempt on an answer sheet.
