About Assam HS Exam Pattern 2025
Assam HS Exam Pattern 2025 is now available on the official website of AHSEC. To pass the exam, students need to score at least 30% marks in theory exams and at least 40% marks in practical exams. AHSEC, the Assam HS Board exam conducting authority will provide question papers in English and Bengali medium. The subjects including Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Political Science, Finance will include a project work or internal assessment for 20 marks. The remaining 80 marks will be reserved for theory exams. The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will release the timetable later this year. To prepare well for the exam, the board released the Assam HS Exam Pattern 2024-25 which provides a blueprint for the question papers.
The exam pattern will include objective type questions, very short questions, short questions, and long questions. The students can also check the marks weightage for each of the sections mentioned in the question paper. The board is likely to conduct exams in March 2025. The Assam HS Question Paper 2025 is designed as per the set exam pattern by the board. Assam HS Blueprint 2024-25
Given below are some of the major points related to the Assam HS Exam Pattern 2025:
- The total duration of the exam is 3 hours.
- The total marks for the exam will be 100 marks.
- Each paper will be divided into 4 different sections as per the types of questions.
- Section A will consist of Objective-type questions, Section B will consist of Very short-answer-type questions, Section C will consist of Short-answer-type questions, and Section D will consist of Long-answer-type questions.
- This pattern will be the same for both compulsory and elective subjects.
- The elective subjects will include both language and vocational subjects.
- The pass marks for subjects having no practical exam is 30% of the total marks.
- The passing marks for a subject having practical exams is 30% for the theory part and 40% for the practical part.

Assam HS Passing Marks 2025
Students must score minimum passing marks in all subjects according to the information released by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
- The pass percentage for theory subjects is 30% of the total marks and in the case of practical subjects is 40% of the total marks.
- In calculating the marks for the declaration of the results, the mark of the language subject securing higher marks will be calculated but passing in both the languages is mandatory.
