Bihar Board 10th Syllabus 2024-25 is available on the official website of BSEB at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. A total of 5 Compulsory subjects are included in the curriculum with the possibility of additional subjects according to the students' choice. Students will appear for theory papers along with practical and internal assessment exams as per the different subjects. Theory papers for language subjects and Mathematics will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. There will be no practical or internal assessments included in these subjects. In Science, 20 marks will be allotted for practicals and another 20 will be allotted for internal assessment. The remaining marks will be allotted for the theory paper. In Social Science, the theory paper will be conducted for 80 marks and the remaining will be allotted for the practical exam. Students will be appearing for a total of 500 marks according to the curriculum followed by BSEB for class 10th. Out of the 500 marks, students are required to score 150 marks to be declared as a ”Pass”. Bihar Board 10th Syllabus 2024-25: Exam Pattern
Along with the syllabus, the Bihar Board also releases the Bihar Board 10th Exam Pattern 2024-25 on its official website. Students can go through the points mentioned below:
- To be declared ‘passed’, students must acquire 30 marks in each paper out of 100. Their aggregate marks must be at least 150.
- 1st division can be achieved if scored 300 or more marks in total
- Students who secure marks between 225 and 300 will be awarded second-division
- 3rd division will be given to the students who will obtain marks between 150 and 225
- Students who get marks less than this will be declared failed
- For language papers and Mathematics, the theory paper will be conducted for 100 marks.
- For Social Science, the theory paper will be conducted for 80 marks, and the practical will be conducted for 20 marks.

- BSEB 10th Science involves memorizing a lot of definitions, formulas, scientific names, and concepts. While studying, students can write down every scientific term, formula, definition, or other concept that they come across repeatedly.
- Both in Biology and Chemistry the paper, students may find many diagram-related questions. Students must practice the diagrams and mark labels. If possible, add diagrams to support the answers, it will give an extra advantage in scoring high marks.
