About PSEB 12th Exam Pattern 2024-25
Punjab School Examination Board has released the PSEB 12th Exam Pattern 2024-25 on the official website. Based on the exam pattern, students will be required to score a minimum of 33% marks in theory and practical separately to clear each paper. There is no minimum mark limit for internal assessment but the aggregate of theory, practical and internal assessment should be 33%. There will be a variety of questions in the paper including theory and practicals. The maximum mark for each subject is 100, which is further divided into theory, practical, and CCE.
In Science subjects, the theory marks will be 70 marks except for Mathematics which will carry 80 marks. In Commerce subjects, the theory papers will carry 80 marks. Students must also go through the PSEB 12th Syllabus 2024-25 and prepare their study plan accordingly. There will be two groups of subjects for which the board exam will be conducted: the compulsory subjects and the elective subjects. PSEB 12th Blueprint 2024-25
Let us understand the Punjab Board Class 12 Exam Pattern 2024-25 in detail through the points listed below:
- The exam duration for each paper will be 3 hours.
- The mode of the paper will be offline and the medium will be Hindi, English, and Punjabi (except for language papers).
- There will be a division of theory and practical exams for each of the subjects.
- The language papers will be conducted for a total of 100 marks out of which 80 marks will be for the theory exam and 20 marks will be for the practical.
- Computer Science subject will be conducted for a total of 50 marks, including 45 marks for practical and 5 marks for the project.
