About CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2024-25
CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2024-25 is uploaded on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education to be downloaded by the students. A few changes have been made by CBSE in the exam pattern. This year, around 50% of the questions in the question paper will be Competency Questions in the form of MCQs/ Case Based Questions, Source-based Integrated Questions, or any other type. MCQs will account for 20% and Constructed response questions (Short Answer Questions/Long Answer type Questions, as per existing pattern) will be 30%. Students must also download the latest CBSE Class 12 Syllabus 2024-25 to prepare effectively for the exams. Students must download the subject-wise syllabus to check the topics covered in every subject.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced that the class 12th board exams will be starting on 15th February 2025. The detailed CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2025 will be released by CBSE in December 2024 on the official website. By downloading the exam pattern, students can easily check the format and the weight allotted for each section included in the question paper. Students must make a study plan according to the latest exam pattern and give enough time to prepare for the concepts with more weight. A specified number of minimum passing marks are required to successfully pass the exams as decided by CBSE. Students can refer to the information about the CBSE Class 12 Passing Marks here:
- Students will get the Pass Certificate by CBSE if they get a grade higher than “E” in all subjects of internal assessments.
- To be declared pass, students must obtain at least 33% in all 5 subjects of the external exam.
