CGBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2025

Students who are preparing for the exam must be aware of the CGBSE Class 12th Exam Pattern 2025 which will help them understand the nature of the questions in the exam.

• Each paper will be for a total of 50 marks.
• To pass a subject, the students need to score a minimum of 35% aggregate.
• The duration of each examination is 2 hours and 45 minutes.
• There will be four essay questions each question will carry five marks (4×5=20),
• There will be eight short answer questions where each question will be of two marks (8×2=16),
• There will be eight very short answer questions and each question will be of 1 mark (8×1=8).
• There will be 12 brief answer questions and each question will be of 1/2 mark (12×1/2=6).
