About TS SSC Exam Pattern 2025
The Directorate of Government Examinations Telangana (BSE) updated the exam pattern last year. According to the modified TS SSC exam pattern, the students will now appear in six papers. The exam for each subject will be of 100 marks. Out of this, 80 marks will be reserved for the theory exam, and 20 marks will be reserved for practical exams. There are three non-language papers and 3 language papers to be chosen by the students. The subjects available to choose from are Sanskrit, Telugu, Hindi, English, Mathematics, General Science, Physical Sciences, Biology, Social Studies, Urdu, etc. Each subject will have two papers, except for the language subjects. Students need to get 35% marks in the board exams to pass successfully. Along with the exam pattern, students are also advised to check the latest TS SSC Syllabus 2025 while preparing for the exams.

- The total number of marks allotted to each paper is 100, with which the theory paper will contain 80 marks and the practical will contain 20 marks.
- The minimum passing mark for each paper is 35.
- There will be a total of eleven papers in these six subjects, and each subject will have two papers, except the second language paper.
- Non-language Papers would have a maximum of 50 marks, with 40 marks allocated in the theory exam and the remaining 10 marks awarded as internal assessment. The marks distribution for all six papers is given below in the table:

Science

FAQs
Telangana Board of Secondary Education released the SSC date sheet on 20th December 2024 on the official website. The exams will be conducted from 21st March to 4th April 2025. Most of the theory paper will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. You can download the PDF of the date sheet at bse.telangana.gov.in.
For TS SSC students, there will be internal assessment and theory for each subject. The students will have to appear for both and pass them individually to get the pass status. By scoring good marks in the internal assessment, students will be able to improve their overall score.
In the TS SSC exams 2025, students should first read and understand the questions while attempting the long questions. They should ensure that the relevant points are added in the answers justifying the marks allocated to the question. If required, students should draw the diagrams as well.
In the TS SSC Exam Pattern 2025, students will get very short questions, short answer questions, and long answer questions.
Practical exams will be conducted for a total of 20 marks in subjects like Science. Two papers will be conducted in Science including Physical Science and Biological Science. Both of these will be conducted for a total of 40 marks with 10 marks allotted for the internal assessment.
According to last year’s TS SSC Exam Pattern, 100 marks will be allotted for every subject included in the curriculum. There are three languages and three non-language subjects included in the curriculum to be chosen by the students according to their interests.
To get an A grade in your TS SSC Exam, students are required to get more than 75% marks in every subject included in the curriculum and the aggregate total of the students must be more than 750 marks out of the total 1000.

No changes are expected to be made in the TS SSC Exam Pattern 2024-25. Students can use old books and model test papers to prepare for the exams and revise accordingly.
