Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam Pattern 2025-26 : The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board will continue with the same Karnataka 2nd PUC exam pattern in the academic year 2025-26 as well. We can expect that there will be no major changes as such this year. The Karnataka Board releases the latest Karnataka 2nd PUC model test papers along with the blueprints on its official website. Students will have to appear for 6 subjects, including 2 language papers and 3 core subjects, and 1 optional paper. Each paper will carry a total of 100 marks, divided into theory and internal assessment for subjects with practical knowledge including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
For other subjects, the theory paper will be conducted for 80 or 100 marks depending on the nature of the subject. The duration of Karnataka 2nd PUC exam is 3 hours. Almost all the question papers will be divided into four parts including including multiple-choice, short answer, and long answer types. Students are required to score 33% marks in both theory and practical exams to pass. The Karnataka 2nd PUC exam 1 2026 will be held from the first week of the third week of March 2026. To pass the Karnataka 2nd PUC exam 2026, students must secure a minimum of 24 marks in the theory papers which will carry 80 marks.
